Going to the NICU to meet my new nephew ^_^ today is a great day!!!

My first son was born at 29 weeks (11 weeks premature) and had to be in the NICU here for the remaining 3 months until he was big enough to go home. He didn't have any major issues per se, but obviously, we couldn't take him hom at 29 weeks either. The midwives in most NICU's are very experienced and very good at what they do. Hoping he's able to go home soon! :)

@Strategist that makes me feel so much better :') Thank you! My niece spent 9 months in the hospital last year and they still have no clue what's wrong with her. So the less I worry the better. Sick kids are the worst :(

I hope he keeps doing better. I know it is scary to have a premature baby (not from experience) but he doesn't sound like he was too early, and so I am sure they gave your sister (in-law?) steroids to help. He should be out of there and home soon I hope!
