I can't stop griding my teeth at night and it's causing me a dull, constant headache and sore jaw. Does anyone know what to do to help?

I dont grind often and severely enough to get a mouth guard, but when I do I stick out my tongue between my teeth and my brain stops my teeth from grinding because my tongue's in the way. Kinda works similarly to the fact you can't bite your own finger off. But Im not a doctor of course so please be careful and if you can just wait for the dentist :+)

Thanks, guys and ladies! I went to the dentist and they said Ibuprofen would work for now, it really did, it seems I didn't grind last night, she made a mould of my teeth and I should receive the mouthguard tomorrow, just in time for Carnival!!!
@Katya não achei essa placa adaptável, acho que não deve existir por aqui ou deve ser de uso exclusivo de dentistas :/

isn´t exclusive for dentist ! here you can buy one for like.. 40-50 reais. Glad you are fine today bru ;)
