Do tie breaking votes for contests just need 1 vote to decide or are they supposed to be for a set time?

It can be either - you can set one up for 24 hours with just the entries that need tie-breaking, or just get one vote. It's up to the discretion of the host.

Are people really upset that a guy with a gun who was more than likely high on prescription/illicit drugs, was shot after officers said "drop the gun" for over a minute?

@Zapdos; TIL morons think police have the right to murder people if they don't comply. LOL
I can show you countless news stories of police getting into shoot outs and standoffs with people who have beaten and murdered.
They're white and somehow always come out alive but if they're black, guarantee you they'll be dead.

Don, there's a difference in carrying and brandishing. If it was removed from the holster, it's not open carry anymore. Not to mention felons can't have guns, but the officers didn't know that until after the fact. You play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.

I just watched the Warcraft movie. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be.

I agree. I put it up there with Dungeons and Dragons. Worth Bad Movie Night. :)

Prince of Persia or chronicles of Riddick were more amusing adaptations, IMHO. I really wanted to like it because I LOVE the vikings series, but it irked me that Fimmel played the same character as Ragnar. Solid C+

Yes and no. They're still doing the annual events, but we have no reason to expect anything more than that.

Tomorrow the whole family is heading to LA because my great grandpa wants to take family photos at Sears. He's 93 so he doesn't realize why this is hilarious to us.

Just logged into Skype with my Windows Live Messenger account from 8+ years ago. The nostalgia is real.
