I kind of played, but for about 10 minutes. I just got bored. I only play neo because I cheat

You can cheat at SC2 aswell, if that's the only thing you get kicks from... the only problem with cheating at RTS games is the fact that it completely defeats the purpose of playing the game, because the point behind STRATEGY games is the STRATEGY. Using stuff like maphacks so you can reveal the Fog of War and see what your opponent is doing is literally game-breaking. You can respond to people's build orders and unit positioning without the need to scout (with workers / scans / observers / ect...)


I find Starcraft 2 a bit more for intellectual types, as it is a game that requires HEAVY thinking and intense mechanical understanding, all the while being able to respond to and act accordingly to what is happening as you see it.

It's really depressing to see the game being hindered by shitty maps that encourage 1 or 2 base play. GSL is an absolute bore a lot of the times due to 1 base and 2 base all-ins being the most effective strategy.

I just started a few weeks ago so I'm pretty bad. Anybody have a 2s team I could play against? I play double zerg with my boyfriend and I'm just trying to build familiarity with the game before I start playing 1s.

I played the beta version when it first came out, I loved all the scrapped abilities, esp. the battlecruiser missiles
Needless to say, I bought the game when it came out and spent the first two months playing it to the point where I was failing all my uni subjects.
I quit, then managed to bring 3/4 of my subjects to a passing grade. =p
Haven't touched it since...too afraid of the addiction.

I'll probably play when it's summer break though. =D

Yes, I do play (as Terran). I haven't gotten back into it much since summer started, but I was playing it in August when it came out quite a bit. Managed to get Bronze or something in 1v1 league play, but that was by sheer luck, haha.

Its pretty simple to get actually, what you have to do is to drop to the bronze league and keep losing until you are at 0 points, once you are at 0 points and lose enough you will start to see people with crazy icons. These are the win traders. Essentially what you do is that you trade wins with them by winning and losing every other game.

Many of these people are botting actually. Im not gona be responsible for getting accounts banned so im not gona post a link to the bot on here.

thats why you use the bot to do the join and leaving for you. but if you don't want to be in danger of gettin banned, i havnt been banned yet for doing this, then you basically have to do it by hand

i don't play that much, but i enjoy watching high level players like EG idra, liquid TLO, mondragon, slayers boxer etc. shoutcasts like crota, husky, day9 are brilliant, you should youtube those guys because they will improve your game
