I loved this....especially since most people would be like "wtf?" if they were around him but they're all having fun and cheering and shit

Awesome gravedig is acceptable.
That's pretty much how I act whenever I hear that song.
Only difference is usually I'm at the grocery store.
It's ok. I usually look like a crazy hobo when I do this while walking down the street. Especially because nobody else can hear the music thanks to headphones :|

The fact that he did it no matter what makes it cool. I don't understand why he would lose 'cool points' if he rehearses something. He said in the interview he knew some of the moves he would do, and the rest was on the fly. That doesn't really count as practicing unless he goes to the arena and dances up and down a flight of stairs. The fact that he practices his moves make it less cool. Still, balls the size of grapefruit.
Even if it was staged, why does that matter...? Also that's just the luck of the draw on the jumbotron... I mean realistically can you imagine if that kid who only started following the Celtics last year walked in to the Celtics office asking to be put on the jumbotron to dance around? The repercussions could be off the wall if he did something like take off his pants and people found out it was staged.. But even if "Poncho" staged this with the Celtics then it was between them. Everyone else in the arena had no idea what was going on and you could see they were enjoying the game that much more because of his stunt regardless if it was staged or not.Am I the only one who thinks it's staged?? I mean... the camera just happened to be centered on him when he got up? It's a good video, but the fakeness makes it less cool.
