He shoots he scores. Jared your rebuttal?
xD
If someone has done it before, they're liable to do it again no matter how many times they may apologize. Some people
may learn their lesson, and it should be up to them to rebuild their reputation in the eyes of our members. That's just one of the consequences to scamming/lying. Even in real life. Imagine living in a world where convicted criminals were granted complete anonymity.
I'm also tempted to draw a parallel to our practice of putting child molesters on a public watch list. It's important that we know who may be a potential danger in our community.
Before someone scams they need to realize that one of the consequences
will be having their reputation destroyed. Keeping their names private is only removing one more potential deterrent to their actions. It could be the difference between someone choosing whether to scam, or not to scam.
I know these forums aren't exactly a democracy, and nor should they be, however with issues like this I think an exception should be made. The actions of these people (scammers) effectively rob us of all the time and effort we've put into this game. It effects each and everyone of us both directly and indirectly.
