Don't knock it before you've tried it.
Just because something "looks" or "sounds" disgusting doesn't mean it is.

Just because liver sounds awful doesn't mean it is, does it? I've had lots of pates and livers done right and it's delicious. People I work with shudder at the mere thought of consuming it.
Believe it or not there's people who think peanut butter sandwiches are disgusting ... and I think they're ok, nothing to be disgusted at. In retrospect it does look kind of gross (I am not a jelly fan at all) but to each their own. The only way you can really judge anything, especially food, is to taste it.

You don't know how many times people knock sushi down. I love it and many friends do, obviously if there's 1000's of sushi restaurants open in the world it's not disgusting... "ewww, raw fish!" amirite? so gross!1111 lol whatever.

I was joking at first, but...
I hate liver, PB sandwhiches, and sushi.
I have braces, and a sensitive stomach. Fish is a no. PB+bread=disaster in my mouth. And liver, just, bleh. I don't do well with anything that has a slimy or mushy consistency. So, anything that looks slimy and mushy, is gross in my book. I don't care how good it tastes.

Goat cheese with fruits are generally really good but I'm a big hater of watermelons.

Weirdest expensive thing I have eaten is uni which is the gonads of sea urchin. (Fucking good despite its name)

Weird food that most people are afraid of are durians and snails. Not escargots but snails from a can. Briney.

Food I cannot stand but people here love it include tripes, tongues, frog legs and chicken 'talons'.

Oh, I cannot stand cilantro, just the rawness and the smell makes me puke. I have been blaming the parsley for years but cilantro is just the asian and nastier version of it.
