I'm not an advanced member yet and I just wanted to ask,

Is abrosia supposed to do nothing most of the time for non advanced members?
I mean i turn it on for hours but it just sits there. The only new messages that show up are the random events.
Sometimes it'll ab like one item every few hours but the item is only 5k profit.

Is it better if i make it visit random shops? Cause I've tried that and it doesn't help much either.

Are you using a manual list for a certain shop? If so, which shop? Although regardless, it's the weekend so there should be plenty of restocks, that's odd.

Going into random shops (or less popular shops) might help instead of staying in the more popular shops, just due to the sheer amount of people autobuying. Abrosia does have an advantage over other autobuyers as far as the less popular shops goes, because of the items database.

The more people running the autobuyer, the harder it is to autobuy something. There's about 90 people using Abrosia right this minute, nevermind what other autobuyers are out there.

If i wasn't advanced I'd probably come up with my own lists or get some AB lists so you could stay in one shop of your choice instead of random shops where you may or may not increase your chances of getting frozen or not getting anything good.

with the item database here and on jelly neo really it is easy to search for items based on the shop that they restock in
and then simply make a list based upon the profit margin you are wanting to make :3

Just like ilovepolkadots said, it's very easy to create your own AB lists.
I would suggest you trying first with shops that have few items as it will be seem more legit that someone begis with it.
(a legit newbie restocker wouldn't get only profitable items from shops with many items lie the shop #4)

You could set it up to do a single shop but then you'll need a list for it to go by. You could buy a list from people on the forums.

I feel ignorant now. I actually forgot the bulk of people who play neopets actually care about their pets and shit. :x

I have a few pets that I'm attached to, so I make them look pretty The rest i care not for until they get an awesome species/colour zap.

I thought it was just set until one is an advanced member?
Or is there an option to change it cause for me it's just grayed out!

There is the option of leaving it just like it is (random jump through some shops using the codex item database), or making it visit an specific shop and creating your own lists.

But you can't choose the specific ID's of the shops right?

Not if you're using the codex database, no, but if you have your own list you can choose which shop to AB in.

I just got an invisible negg not too long ago, and petpet crunch. But imo, compared to the rest, food is like easiest :x

I'd rather be poor, than draw suspicion >____>.
