I got premium for my Neo account yesterday, and ever since then my Codex programs aren't working... does anyone else have this problem? I've tried uninstalling + reinstalling the required files + all the programs I use, to no avail.

I'm almost positive it has to do with me getting Premium on my neo account, but can someone confirm this? Is there something I can do to fix this? My trainer has been working flawlessly for like 3 weeks non-stop... now I can't even log in.

It has been known since.... forever. Everybody who said they were going to fix it were too busy (and still are). Just run any program in debug mode, login, and send me any of the debug pages that have you logged in (just open them in Firefox or Chrome or any other web browser to check). I'm planning on changing a few other things around to make things easier for users and programmers so I might as well fix this along the way.

ah, thanks a bunch KWAY... what language is the program in? I could offer assistance if you don't have enough time to fix it, but know where the problem lies. I have a feeling it is trying to grab certain lines of code with the login script but when you become premium it changes that... anyways thanks for responding. I wasn't sure where to post, but at least now I know it's not just me.

Sorry for making a new topic about this... I searched the forums for like 40 minutes with every combination of "premium neo account auto-trainer" you could imagine and couldn't find anything so I gave up and posted.

Thanks though! Now I'll just have to set an alarm clock for every 4 hours while I sleep :p

IIRC it has something to do with the premium portal, try logging out of that first.

    Here you go:

When using the premium portal, it created malformed start tags in the html. This screws up our html parser, which reads based upon tags. If you where to check your borwser error console, you would see thousands of error from Neopets.com. Since a browser would be horrible if it just crashed each time someone did a shitty job programming their site, they just ignore the tags, and load the page anyways. Our program cant function if we just skipped tag reading.

When SL returns, he will take a look at a method of fixing this, as it seems to be a big issue for alot of people.

The only thing it affects is the username when the program tries to get the username (premium has stuff stuff on the page which screw the program up) but it shouldn't affect anything else.

All the pet setting are saved by the pet's name and not the account (would make transferring pets annoying) so the program doesn't do anything else with your username but remind you which account is logged in.

EDIT: I just remembered this: http://www.neocodex....using-problems/

    ALSO:

Does this mean Abrosia won't work? I was going to buy Advanced to start up AB'ing... but I guess I should hold off on that until I get confirmation either way?

I have no idea how to turn off the premium portal because I've never had premium, but I do know with abrosia you can make it sync with your browser, so if you're logged on already you don't need it to 'log on' again

There's two arrows - one green and one red that follow each other round in a circle. If you click those it will change to normal use. I think if your using portal its on the left hand side near the bottom.

Probably for the SSW and the charters board. But yeah I agree, Neopets premium is overrated.

Question: Is the item database accurate in pricing for the Shop Owners column for Buyables? If it is, it essentially eliminate the need for SSW.

The itemdatabase at codex is really accurate because it gets updated every time someone prices a certain item
But not everybody uses this database for pricing so noob people somtime price very expensive items cheap

So we can say there is a need for ssw

The reason I bought premium is because I like the SSW.... it's a VERY useful tool for Neopets... I wouldn't even bother running a shop without the SSW, it helps SO MUCH... (I have a shop over size 700 fully stocked main mall)

    Anyways, down to business:

I tried using the Browser Sync, and it WAS able to log in, although it STILL SAYS in the login information that my username is the w3.com/XHTML validation URL, so something obviously isn't right still.... I tested using browser sync with the autotrainer, and it DOES however retrieve the correct pet information so it IS logging in, but anything past the first step of logging in, it gets frozen on... I'll post some screenies and and error log, hang on:

(I'm almost positive this has to do with Neopets Premium, as I've never gotten HTMLParser errors before, and having Premium messes with the code lines that Abrosia's HTML Parsers are calling...)

Turning off the Portal doesn't fix anything at all... it still wont log in without Browser Sync, and even WITH it, the programs themselves don't function....

Can anyone that has been in the same circumstance confirm this has worked for them? As I am seeing it, turning off the portal fixes nothing.

Ok then... is anyone else getting stuck at this location:

    Posted Image

...? It never changes off that status. I've let it sit for 2+ hours, and it never changes. Also, when you are using the Browser Sync, do you see this when you log in:

    ...?

OK I just set up an old shell account with some cash so I could at least start AB'ing before my Advanced runs out... and it's still not working.

I've tried uninstalling / reinstalling all the required files and Abrosia itself, and still nothing.... It gets stuck at the "Status: Visiting Shop ID: ##" forever. This shell account isn't using Neopets Premium, and is on the basic site theme....

    PLEASE help :x3:

If there is ANYTHING I can do to help you resolve this let me know! I am computer literate, so throw some ideas at me. I've shut down any and all AV programs, disabled Windows Firewall, Ran as administrator, Ran in compatibility mode, everything... I can't figure out why Abrosia isn't working!
