I was playing neoquest ii today (it's kind of my favorite game )
Anyhow, i noticed that on normal when I walk around after I kill a monster - I don't heal anymore.

Is this a glitch? :(
I think this happened on insane (haven't played in ages) but I'm pretty sure this shouldn't happen on normal.

Can anybody confirm/deny?

Can't remember fully, but I think you only heal for 7 steps after battle.

Did you just restart, because you need a certain hp, like 50 or so, to heal 1 hp per step. Also, I think that if you are hunting near a city, you might not get any step healing benefits, no sure though have not played for quite awhile now.

^Thanks, it was just that I wasn't of a high enough level yet. Once I hit 5 or so - I began healing after every battle.
    That was a bit embarassing:unsure:

The healing while walking is sure helpful, especially in the first few chapters without Velm.

Are the odds of getting the bow of destiny on insane really low? This game takes freaking forever!!!

I think the chances are all equally likely. The amount of time required to beat all 3 difficulties for only a chance to get a BoD or WoR isn't really worth it. Unless you enjoy NQ2 (I sure as hell didn't), then by all means doi tup!

Actually, I think that's false although I'm not 100% certain.
I remember reading somewhere that most people got two items out of the four in NQII (as opposed to 25% each)
I don't remember exactly where it was and I tried looking for it a bit but couldn't actually find it.

The multiple times I've played, it seems I got the Wand of Reality the most, and the Staff of Righteous Fury the second most. So that may be it, but I'm not 100% certain.

Actually, back when WoR and BoD were the common 35/55/85 boost constants, I remember a few neofriends that would pretty much only BD and play Neoquest to the point where they could finish it in a day and a half consistently.

But now-a-days with SoA under 1m (was 1.5m when this was going on), SoRF under 500k, and BoD/WoR being driven down by more competitive weapons, I can't see it being as lucrative anymore.

If you think about it - it's the ONLY worthwhile game to play (in terms of those long ones)
What other game would give you rewards?
    NQI? Plushie Tycoon? Pyramids? Etc...

It's definitely not a great way to make money - but it's cool. You get some nice trophies (I dare say that out of those games - the NQI and NQII trophies are the hardest to get excluding Plushie Tycoon) and a decent weapon at the end. You'll probably get some half decent ones as you're going through normal - evil.

I kind of like the game, I've played it a few times and I try not to play all the levels consecutively or I find that I get burned out. Both the Wand of Reality and the Bow of Destiny going at 2.5-3 mill is pretty consistent. They're cheap items to get (whether or not you did NQII) for their stats.

Plus if you think about it, other then AB-ing and SS-ing - what else do you have to do on neopets?
I like to play NQII and meerca chase haha. Chia Bombers sometimes, but there's not much to be done after you get all the cheating down.

I couldn't agree more. I always have a game going on the side, but I'm not nearly productive enough in it to regularly finish games. I always wished Invasion of Meridell had a bit more in substance and prizes, because that was always my favorite game.

And as for worthwhile things, I actually kinda like KeyQuest. It's by no means high-end profits, but for these 10 minute games while I'm rs/sw banned, I've been getting at least 5k per and piece 7 of lab map.
