I can't really think of anything you would really want for 700k or less (off the top of my head)

Generally, it's a lot harder to sell something then it is to buy - so why not keep saving up and start spending it on items you'll want to use for a long time?

^ if you aren't going to contribute then why post? This is actually quite untrue... depending on the items you already have. It would help a LOT if you told us what you already have in your BD set, that way we can give you some ideas as to what would be good additions to your set.

For instance, what do you have for a healing constant? What are your pets HSD? What is your constant DMG weapon? Do you have a bomb in your set? What type of shields do you have? Do you have any Multi-Purpose?

Depending on your level, it might be good to add Dual Scarab Rings.... I used those for 1PBD until level 40 or so... very helpful Multi-Purpose weapon.

For 700k you can get a Honey Potion, which is pretty much the best Bomb for under 1mill (costs about 700k)... Earth + Physical icons = good...

Greater Healing Scroll = 110k heals 35-50 which is VERY good for a low-mid range battler.

Staff of Righteous Fury is prob the most cost effective 9 iconer around... selling at about 400-500k right now.

Golden Compass is a pretty good secondary constant if you want a big damage round without any 1 use per battle bombs... has a nice range of icons and fits VERY well with the Staff of Righteous Fury....

Leaf Shield is a VERY cost effective shield for low level BD... I used it until about level 40 as well. Without a doubt the only shield worth buying until you can afford G-Shield...

For 700k you can get a Greater Healing Scroll (110k) Staff of Righteous Fury (~450k) Dual Scarab Rings (5k) Golden Compass (50k) Leaf Shield (2.5k) and have some cash left over to buy some 1 use bombs...

Or you can get a 1 use (per battle, multiple use) bomb, the Honey Potion... which is the only option under 1mill worth considering until you can afford a G-Bomb...

So all in all, I CAN give you advice for additions to your BD set, but honestly without knowing ANYTHING about your pet or ANYTHING that you have in your current set... the best advice I can give you is fairly trivial as it's all just guessing at suggestions.

Dual scuzzys combs or p pots probably. If you are actually invested in the BD, just save up to get a good set (g bomb, tabard, Sos, etc.)

My suggestion was to save up your money until you can afford something you truely want in your battledome set.
That sounds pretty logical to me, no need getting an item that you're going to have to replace in a couple of days/weeks.

Plus everytime you buy and sell an item (especially if it's one of the lower priced items), it'll be harder to sell and if you're just getting it for the market price - it's not always easy to unload for the price you got it for. I usually end up having to take a loss to sell that item.

I'm sorry if I didn't have a specific item when I responded to his post but it was a contribution nonetheless.

Training is always a good idea, and remember to use the autotrainer!

What's the HSD of your pet? It would help to give you set ideas and also whether you do mainly 1p or 2p battling.

When you said a "beast-ass" pet, I guarantee nobody expected it to be a pink fish with fairy wings.

Nor for it to have effectively basic stats.

I'm pretty sure these 2 statements are very contradictory.

    On Topic:

A good set for you would be SoRF, Leaf Shield, Golden Compass, 2x Scarab Ring, Greater Healing Scroll, and misc. bomb that you can afford w/ left over cash.

This is a cheating site so we assumed you bought the pet for NPs and bought a REAL BD pet.

As for using the autotrainer and ABer, it works fine for me.

Lol since when was a "pink fish with faerie wings" a beast-ass pet? I know everyone has different taste, but Jetsams are freaking ugly since they were redrawn.

Gotta disagree here... lookup Majal_Kita... Robot Jetsam = BADASS

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Majal_Kita is an UC robot jetsam

Edit: Off topic, but robot ogrins came out and personally, I think they look pretty boss.

Majal_Kita is UC. Even then, Robot UC is probably the only decent looking Jetsam colour. Jetsams are still fugly as hell and only prepubescent 12 year old boys want them.

Edit: And I'm not gonna lie, I still want a Robot Jetsam. :p But meh, I'll stick with Kacheek so I can abuse my KLP.

They'll buy them as long as you have enough NP and room in your inventory

The SDB function doesn't work perfectly, so be sure not to have any in you SDB

Well I figured I would post here instead of starting my own thread. I'm looking to build a 1P bd set. So far I've been thinking of the following:

    KBT x 2
    MMoM
    KLP (I have a kacheek)
    Ghostkerbomb
    FTab or Ghostkershield

I figure in 1P icon types don't really matter and it all comes down to price per icon (hence KBT > SoS). However, I'm still torn between FTab or Ghostkershield. What would you guys recommend? I don't really want to buy both. Also is there anything missing from this set?

Think if I had to pick a shield it'd be G-shield Fo SHO, just because I think in 1P BD the elite opponents have SOS. And don't think you're missing much other than the items mentioned.

Honestly, a single DAY of playing LEGIT games can get you enough cash to afford dual Golden Compass'... enough with the "poor me I got chain iced" and get back on your feet and start cranking out some NP making stuff... We've all been there at least once, you aren't the only one here who's had to start over.

    ON TOPIC:

If you are going to focus on 1P BD then pick a few enemies you want to target as your main opponents, look up the gear they use, and build your BD set around that.
