Just making sure you knew I responded.

When I first pm'ed you, I just thought you didn't read the thread.
Now, I realize your logic went as such:
Person A is from Place X, and Person B is from Place X
Therefore, Person A = Person B.

My apologies for assuming too much :/

    Uh-huh. Suuuuuure.
I bet that's one of those fake "I'm so sorry that I didn't want your rather bulbous head struggling to find its way through the normal-size neck hole of my finely knit sweater" apologies. Hrmpf!
    :p

No, it was an "I assumed that you were smart enough to follow a logical train of thought."

Apparently, your train doesn't run on tracks :( I'm truly sorry for that.

This is like watching someone without legs challenging Chuck Norris to a roundhouse kicking contest.

    Do continue ^_^

I dunno what happened. Maybe I'll have to PM him to be sure he sees my awesome comeback of Crazy Train.

    *bump*

Is it possible to hook up the alerts with this?

Yup, it's possible. I received the scrambled rainbow negg just awhile back. Turmy doesn't seem to be working thou.

For me, it's weird - I only get the alerts when I have neocodex open in a browser.
It's not that turmy doesn't work but the times they have for Turmy is messed up. The time for turmy can change everyday and I'm guessing since people don't really get an alert for it (like they would if they had the toolbar for Tarla) it's not that big of a deal.

Whenever Turmy's awake time does not follow the regular pattern - neocodex messes up. If you look at the logs, for days at a time it'll be fine then once in a while it'll say like Turmy did not wake up today and then it'll keep being messed up until I think either somebody fixes it and puts in the time again or until it aligns up with the normal pattern.
(I know this is a little confusing but it has to do with figuring out Turmy's time everyday).
TL;DR, if you want to get the Turmy avatar - use this site: http://www.neopets.com/~picovamde
He updates it quite frequently and you can figure it out from here

I'll fix that prediction date. But on codex it's 100% accurate to rely on the neoalert. The prediction calculations need to be fixed. :(

How do you figure it out for the irregular jumps? I thought it was (mostly) random

Yep, got the neoalert and used it today. Works like a charm :)

I don't know there's a calculation going on there. I'll have to look into it. If anyone can find the algorithm that would make my job much easier! :)

That's the thing - it doesn't follow an algorithm.

    Neomyotismom explains it really well:
    http://www.neopets.com/~picovamde

There are generally two types of jumps +5 hours and the non 5 hours. There are also 4/6 hour jumps which USUALLY happen ever 13th date but it's has happened on the 12th, 14th date and a few other (rarely - only a handful in the past years). Then there are monthly jumps.
I don't know if there can be an algorithm that predicts the next time but I guess somebody can update it on neocodex every day.
