hey there. i was wondering if there is a way to buy the ultimate weapons, such that are sold in the hidden tower, but for an RSable price. i read somewhere that the HT drops its price by 3% on the 3rd wednesday on the month (or something like that). is that the only way to profit off the weapons?

thanks

That's indeed true about the 3% price drop. Also, for things like t tear, they can be restocked from the battle shop.

Well, you already just stated the discount at the hidden tower.

You can always try and trade for better items, snipe them off from auctions and resell at a higher value.
I mean there's always different ways you can make money - it really depends on you. If you wanna learn how to snipe/trade, you can always look on google. It's definitely faster then asking on a forum and will explain it better.

If you AB a TTear, you'll get frozen.

    But that would be cheating!

Of course you'd get frozen, but that doesn't mean that it's impossible to restock a high end BD item.

    It's near impossible.

If you're using a safe buying time, you won't get one.

If you're saying that AB-ing a tear would get you frozen, that would mean the only tears belong to legit restockers?

I find that hard to believe - maybe a differently designed AB'er? One that can autobuy at high speeds but acts like a human? Maybe offer numbers that are easy to type (and I would guess next to each other on the number pad such as 141414 or something to that extent?)

As far as I'm aware, a t-tear hasn't stocked and survived in a very, very long time.

I mean, with all the AB'ers out there - I HIGHLY doubt somebody can legit restock the Tear without the help of any java script disablers, auto fill in and things like that.
I mean just with human response and movement - It'd be incredibly hard to click, load, input a correct value and click whatever they ask of you within a second or so (I'm guessing the TT wouldn't even last 1000 ms) that's even if you somehow had clairvoyance and knew it was going to pop up. In order to be alert and lucky enough to refresh the page as the Tear loads is too much if you ask me.

Are there any legit restockers on here? What do you figure your normal times are? I figure that your normal times and your time if you were to see a tear would be similar - I doubt that wanting a item more then another would make you that much faster.

If an ABer that could act human and not get anyone frozen was made, it would be :p

I can only assume he's talking about the 3% Hidden Tower discount.

About the HT discount: It's so little you are not making a profit, same stuff sells on the TP for like >4% off.

right, so i guess that was part of the question: is there a way to obtain these items for such a price that selling them at the TP price would still be profitable? or are the ppl on the TP simply trying to cut their losses?

Well, you can always try and purchase items from desperate sellers who are letting it go for cheap.

I think you're looking for a super shortcut to getting rich and you already have it.
Using Abrosia (in a smart way) and just experimenting with it a lot - you can increase your profit by tons.
There are lots of topics on how to get Abrosia to work better and you can do some experimenting yourself to tweak the results.

That's the way. Just gotta cut deals with people. Or auction snipe, which is pretty tricky.

Auction sniping isn't that difficult. Just snipe ETS stuff, which just requires you to have decent timing (I can't snipe shit off ebay but I can do it on neopets) and just a lot of time.
Don't start sniping UB and weird MP's if you're starting out especially if you don't have a nice market to cater to.

If you search often enough, people will often mess up an auction so you can get pretty deals (i.e setting the increment too high, etc)

I haven't used abrosia since my advanced subscription ran out which was a while ago, but I believe there is an option for smart haggling and it will put it an offer in legit restocker form, although probably faster than a restocker would.
