Alright I'll keep it to the point as best as I can.

I've been ABing for the past 3 weeks or so, sometimes at the foodshop, sometimes at the pharm. I've gotten quite a number of UBs throughout the weeks, but so far i havent triggered any alarms.

Just yesterday my ABer managed to nab about 3-4 UBs from the Pharm, which was probably what made TNT suspicious.

They gone and froze my account with the Ban Reason following: "using an 'auto buyer' to purchase items from the shop" (or something like that)

Is there anyway I can bargain with them to uh, unfreeze that account? I have screenshots of my buy. Any tips on how to weasel my way out of this? Especially from experienced people who have bsed their way out of this before.

Additional Information:

My AB settings were set to 4-6 secs refresh.
and my buy times are usually from 3000~6500, which is not ridiculous at all. D:

I never use the auto stock and auto pricer, I do it all manually, and around 2-3hours after i've gotten my loots.

TNT doesn't unfreeze ABers.  The only way you'd have a chance of getting that unfrozen is if it really was a mistake - and even then, your only proof would be that you hadn't bought from ANY shops AT ALL on any of your accounts, or if you haven't received any money/items from ABers.

yeah, you're not going to get unfrozen :p Believe me, I've tried. Even with accounts that really didn't AB but got sent like 1-2 UB's a week, still didn't get back. Bah!

That's really weird that you got frozen. The only way that makes sense to me is that you Ab'd for too long (like consecutively)

its very strange that TNT would freeze you for those buy times. hmm. i would have been frozen a million times over if that was the case.

unless you rsed for like 6hrs on end. =.=

and yea. u probably have no way to get it unfrozen.

How long did you run the autobuyer for at a time? How much did you make a day from it? I've been iced for ABing in small shops in the past but I forgot my AB was running and it ended up running for like 9 hours. Your buy times are quite safe so chances are it's to do with the duration you ABed for.

Also out of interest did you lose much? 3 weeks is a decent amount of work. :/

Edit: 4-6 seconds refresh is really really pushing it though. The interval is not wide at all and I would say it's far too low.

I had an account that I Ab'd on for months in very dangerous shops with safe settings, no ice

One day for some reason I didn't use the scheduler and AB'd for 9 hours straight xD Got frozen the next day. So yeah, you need breaks :p

I only made about 2m over teh past 2 weeks |:

And even then i didnt rs for that long. about 4-5 hours long with 10min intervals every hour. hmm.

    TNT's really so anal.

Makes me pity the people who got banned for restocking legitly. And I assume that has happened before. Considering they have no way to check other than accusing people of ABing based on the duration of their restocking. Not saying that its obvious that you ABed when you AB for 6hours straight but I believe there are hardcore people out there that do it >_>.

Hmm 2m over 2 weeks definitely isn't enough to draw suspicion, and 4-5 hours with 10 min intervals seems fine. If I were to guess, it would be that you were iced for your refresh rate. Bad luck.

That happened to me and spent over 2 weeks responding back and forth, still didn't get unfrozen... So it is almost 100% unlikely you will get unfrozen. Just start a new account I guess and restock for shorter/less items and act more legit I guess.

I have horrible ping so my actual refresh rate should be around 7-8 secs. I don't see how thats suspicious D:

Yea, really bad luck. Just when I thought I could make a comeback by abing too. Ugh. My 71 month account.....

I have horrible ping as well, my OPTIMAL buy time is like 2500ms, but I usually hover around 3100-3200ms. Are you far away from the US geographically?

Your interval for your refresh is just way too small. Randomise it some more. Also I would increase the rate itself.

4-6 refresh rate is very small, that was probably the main giving point. Or maybe you just got unlucky on being caught. Nothing else you can do other then getting a new account, changing your times a little, and try it all again.

Yea I live in Singapore. Effectively half way across the globe from their server. My ping is about 200~300ms.

Also regarding the refresh rates, what do you think is a better setting? I was so sure that 6 seconds is already a large number enough.

Alright thanks for the tips. Sigh. Kinda dont wanna get back to neopets again though. I might just create 50 shells and SS my way to about 3m or so and transfer. Just gotta think of how to transfer the NPs safely. Gonna piss em off with silly mules. Happy banning, TNT.

<--- Former hardcore restocker 6 hours on weekdays, 10-16 hours on weekends? o.o
I've never gotten banned for my hard core restocking, now my AB times around 7 hours a day w/ breaks, but I'm not frozen. o.o My former legit restocking must make me look more legit using a ABer. o.o

Just make your refresh rate something like 8-16 and you're pretty much safe in that regard. If you're not happy with the profit from there you can lower it a fraction at a time until you're satisfied.

I wonder if its the amount of shops the ABer restocks at a time. Legit restockers usually restock in multiple shops otherwise the profits are extremely low. I was at atleast 7 shops everytime I restocked.

I camp 2 shops and my stuff is pretty ETS and I'm happy with the profits. If anything I think it would make more sense that legit restockers memorize fewer items, therefore fewer shops, although doubt TNT checks that crap.

What are your prehaggle and OCR rates so that you get around 2000ms? I use the default settings and still get 1300ms. lol. Did u increase your times drastically?

Mainly I'm in 1 and 7, but if I really wanted more profits, I'd set faster refresh times, use a proxy, and AB for longer. It's not a huge income, but it's good enough for me.

Edit: If I start getting considerably more missed buys now I won't be happy :p
