Trav where you buy your coals at?

I was using some piss-ass Three Kings quicklight coals because I was too lazy set up & heat the natural ones...but I buy them from a smoke shop.

Protip: Quicklights are good if you're a lazy nigger or it's really windy. Burns quick & uneven, smells like shit, taste like shit.
Natural lighting coals don't taste like crap, and produce heat more evenly. Burn slower & evenly. Takes much longer to achieve operating temperature, requires extended exposure to direct flame.

The second is Yue; I hand painted her.

the third is Katara. She's huge and a pretty see-through blue.

Starbuzz is my fave sesha. I recently tried a tea leaf sheesha at a hookah lounge that was mango flavored. It was awesome.

In the above posts I did mention doing such. (Specifically with wine, but I also mentioned that my favorite liquid to put into the base is Hawaiian Punch as it adds a nice fruity flavor to the smoke.)

Hmm, I've been tempted but my hookahs are all hand blown Egyptian glass so I'm iffy with things getting stuck in the crevices. The hookah lounge I go to does like, coke with cherry sheesha, and orange soda with vanilla but I've always been to broke to try it. xD

Starbuzz is my favorite commercial brand, but my favorite lounge back in Vegas makes his own blend called "sweet pain"...INCREDIBLY strong and it tastes soo goddamn good...made with Areca nut.
$15 a bowl vs $8 for Starbuzz...he won't sell it in bulk quantities for reasonable prices, and someone offered him $50k for the recipe...he said no. He's sold a couple 250g tins of it for around $1k each...there's hookah lounges all over Vegas but people will drive across town (45 mins) to go to this lounge, for that flavor.

Hella cheap compared to KC. The bar I go to is one hookah+1 coal refresher=$17 no matter the flavor. Very good, but still kind of expensive for once or twice a week like I've been going for the last couple years.

This place is 1 hookah + 1 bowl = $15, any bowl after that is $8, with sweet pain being $20 then $15.

"1 coal refresher" WTF IS THAT? That's the biggest load of shit I've ever heard! Every hookah place I've EVER been to is coming around every 5-10 minutes and ashing / replacing coals.

"1 coal refresher" won't even get you through all the tobacco in a bowl. Rip off

My gf and I go to Vegas a lot as her sister lives there. You should point me in the direction of this hookah place; I'm allergic to tree nuts but the Areca isn't one so I'm really happy I could try this mystical blend.

I own some small shitty one. Until about 3 years ago hookah bars or anything selling hookahs was illegal, so everything is like super expensive. I bought one for $60 but it should have only cost me $20 if I woulda bought somewhere outside of this shitty state. I enjoy it, it's relaxing... but my roommates bitch about it and everyone I know seems to have this notion that "a bowl of hookah is the same as a pack of cigs"

This mentality would make sense IF hookah had the same amount of nicotine and tar that cigarettes have but they don't. 0% tar and .5% nicotine that cigarettes have. Granted smoking anything is potentially harmful but hookah is a lot less and people are so effing biased on it.

Al Fakher or Zaghloul is what I smoke, which isn't often. Taxes and duties make a 50g box absurdly expensive here.


For those natural coals, I've found triple and quad flame butane torches to work quite well. You can usually find them sold as tabletop cigar lighters.

i got like 5 one in my front room another in my bedroom 2 in my computer room and last one in my conservatry
got them all from Saudi and india dead cheap smoke everyday get bunch of flavours from there cheap too i recommend it plus delivery dont cost too much and if i know someone is heading near there i get them to get me some flavour
