or does it play no role at all? Because I would imagine people with lots of neocash on their accounts would be quite upset if they were frozen.

Also, I got chain frozen a few days ago and I was really worried for my sisters accounts because we share an internet connection and I tend to gift her a lot of items but her account was safe and I was wondering if the reason was because she has like 7500 in NC.

They don't care whether you've paid or not. If anything they'll want you to pay more.

There is no proven way of knowing exactly how tnt freezes people.

They could just use a random number generator. Without exploiting their website, or working for them, we can only guess.

What it is safe to say is that they have frozen people who have NC on them.

Ouch, i would be more careful in the future to be honest if you don't want her to get frozen. But no, i don't think it really matters tbh.

Hmmm interesting. Thanks for the replies people.

I will be more careful I guess but I don't AB so I really didn't think I would be frozen in the first place.

If your sister's account shared the same IP and is still safe, then it was not a chain freezing.
How many of your accounts went down, and what were the reasons given?

It was a bit of a strange situation. They froze 3/5 (+1 sisters) of my accounts. The reason was "buying/selling neopoints" which I admit was true but I haven't done it recently. I think it was because I transfered 15 million from one account to the other through auctions quite recently.

I was chain frozen one day, too. And only one account survived : an old one with ~1000/2000 NC on it~
    (I lost like 5-7 accounts)

Did the frozen accounts have the same email address?

I actually think it matters quite a bit. Same with premium.

^ That's why they chain froze you.
The only way to avoid chain freezes is making the accounts look like if they belong to different persons.
They can tell if it's the same person by E-mail adress, IP adress, relation between accounts/interaction in neopets, and I've heard that even for your computer's own characteristics.

Your sister accounts on neopets are in danger as long as you share IP address and keep on cheating...
TNT can't tell if you are the same person at all. If they ever doubt they just freeze all the related accounts.

I would strongly reccomend you that if you are going to cheat on neopets, do it with a proxie and on a different computer than your sister.

Yeah you should change to a different email for each important account you have you could also use a different IP when you log in each account that will help

I believe TNT probably does not care how much NC there is in an account.
