But aquatic balls of moss are?

oh yes, they are. ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

I think they are. O_o
In a weird...I would like to watch them roll around way.

Oh by the way OP. I've always wondered - do you guys who use 2channel emoticons have like a list of them and just copy pasta them? It's...Impressive how you guys can type so many of 'em out. D:

it is part of Japanese typing, a small program shows the character list... IME Pad! It makes them very easy to make. ヾ(´・ω・`)

this really made me LOL xD Nice Pets!
___________________________________________________________

Three of my nine rats. Took care of rats for a while when i lived in a flat where no cats or dogs where allowed.
got those three from an animal research laboratory.

RATS!! I saw a rat once... It was in a souvenir store! I saw it ran behind the cash register counter (゚Д゚≡゚Д゚)

That white rat is awesome... it's like "OMG WTF HAX"

I no longer have any pets, that Ferret is fucking awesome I always wanted one when I was younger but I don't think they're legal in Australia without a licence (scared they'll escape and harm the native wildlife).

I am getting a new dog once I move into my new place. Will be a purebred doberman and the damn thing is gonna cost me $1500... but he'll be getting trained in obedience and attack so will be a very very very loyal guard dog.

It is good you will train it I think~~~~ many people will buy dangerous dog and not train.... then they bite people and hurt other animals ( ̄へ ̄)

Plants are not pets. <_<

But aww, rats!

Marimo are special plant, they are sold as pet in Japan. ( ̄ー ̄)

Ohhhh, I used to have rats. ^__^ They were cool until they got huge and started giving me crazy allergies.
I just have a guinea pig...I want a tarantula, though.

I have a friend~~~ she bought pink tarantula... it was a baby, it lived in a small jar... she forgot it in her room on the shelf, and it died ( ̄~ ̄;)

I did have a number of hermit crabs and Marimo moss balls as well, once upon a time...

I want hermit crab maybe, but I don't want to get pinch by claw (._.)
I want many pets
( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

I want a ferret :(

I don't have any pets. Fish and birds are food to me. My dad doesn't want bugs or reptiles and my mom's afraid of anything with fur (the two years I had with my hamster? That was bad) >_>

When I grow up I want two dogs named Kumquat and Couscous XD

I also want snake ( ´∀`) but my mother is afraid...... she allows me to have small lizard when I was a child, but lizard and snake are same I think. ( ̄へ ̄) only lizard has legs I think..... so I do not understand why she does not like snakes.... ( ̄へ ̄;;)

LOL XD

Where do you get those moss ball though? Like I highly doubt the sell them here in Canada o.0

Marimo are only sold as pet, so only in Pet Stores.....

They are Japanese National Treasure. ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

Maybe store in Canada will import Marimo one day~~~

My sister and Mowgli, my ferret, as a babeh..My sister counts as a pet too right?

Btw, Mowgli is 2 now and has NEVER bitten me. Just sweet little nibbles :). Never hard enough to hurt.

Mowgli? ...hmm...Where have I heard that name before.....

And if sisters count as pets I'd post mine up. I'm sure she fits the "weird" criteria :p

The key word is maybe :p I love my sister.....sometimes....other times she's just plain annoying but I think that comes with the package.

What exactly is an animal shelter? You just go in. Pick the pet you want and leave? Any money or other stuff involved?

Mowgli is from the Jungle Book :). Saw a commercial a few weeks before I got him and knew it was perfect! He fits the name quite well.

I've only come across one ferret that bites and I don't think it was "raised" right. I think it also helps that I have ONLY Mowgli, so he's not used to fighting with other ferrets, hence no need to bite .

We have an animal store where I live that always has a bunch of ferrets. You can go and play with them and you'll know which one is right for you! I wouldn't trust the ones at shelters..I feel like those are the ones that will bite.

Also, Mowgli has never been into stealing/hoarding my jewelry or other stuff. He just likes to run around and explore.

I love ferrets! And rats! I used to have two and they LOVED taking baths and sunbathing so don't think that they can't be like other house pets. :funone:

I'd love a ferret but I don't think I could get over the smell. :/

Its true that usually older ferrets don't bite, but they each have their own personality... I love watching Dizzle drag my watch away under the bed, or dig through the garden to eat bugs. Nibbling isn't good behavior though, thats what turns into biting so if he's young... Nip it in the bud :>

I used to have another ferret, someone asked earlier, but he was even more rambunctious. I gave him to a friend of mine, so when my friend comes to visit Abra gets some company too :)

Yea, thats why we had two... I don't feel too bad, he still sees his friend 3 or 4 times a week. People say dogs shouldn't live alone, but once you get rid of that pack mentality they become easier to train. Dizzle was an amazingly annoying handful, he couldn't separate biting other ferrets from biting people. Now he's got it down and he's a pleasure to be around!

they are easy to take care of I think... only need water... and waves to roll and stay round ( ̄▽ ̄)ノ

I have this, it makes the water move... it will keep my marimo in ball shape

Yep, they stink. It's too bad because they're awfully cute. They have scent glands, like skunks, only more mild and they only spray if threatened. You can actually have them removed though that practice is becoming more controversial, like cat declawing. But what you're probably smelling, that "musky" scent, is from oil glands under the skin. It is most noticeable in un-neutered male ferrets since it is related to testosterone levels.
