I don't really have any...

I'm about to graduate from my degree in music, probably with a 1st. I've already been offered a place with a fantastic orchestra that will allow me to travel all over the world doing what I love. I've already travelled to so many places. I married an incredible man and have wonderful friends. Due to inheritance, we're able to consider buying our first house. We have no desire to have children.

Somehow managed to achieve everything I really wanted at 21. Posted Image

Don't want kids? O.o I always wonder why :p I want to create my little own spawnlings. You're very lucky Ali :D

I should hopefully get my honours in 2 more years( at 21) then apply into medicine (meh) or something related. Hopefully I will leave this barren city at 21 and go to med school out of the province/country.

I'm not at all maternal. Never have been. We have a newish bunny that I'm very fond of and direct my limited maternal instinct towards instead.

We're selfish creatures and no intention on having to focus our lives around smaller versions of us. :p We've both been very lucky and got our dream jobs at a young age. Mine will require me to travel internationally up to 20 times a year. His less so but he's still travelling maybe 5 or 6 times a year for a week at a time at the moment. Obviously we don't know for sure where we'll be in 5 years time but I'd be quite surprised if it's particularly different.

Don't really understand why anyone would have kids. :p I like having spontaneity and extra money and impractical shoes and going on holiday to wherever we like. Can't see I'll ever want to give any of that up. The idea of it all just freaks me out.

Good luck with your journey to medical school buddy. That's like another 6 or so more years of being a student until you can actually get your MD. Once you get there we're also talking mountains of loans from school. Major props for the few of you crazy enough folks still ambitious enough to trek that path.

I wanted kids but when you put it that way..

What you're saying makes sense. I'm not sure how great of a mother I'd be anyways.

This topic reminded me about a topic I made like 2 years ago at codex, which I've been trying to search for a long time now and couldn't find, its missing somewhere around here lol. I guess I didn't accomplish many things I've listed...
Right now, I want to go to university, have some fun there and study hard. I want to work in a place where I feel good and happy. I want to travel a lot, meet a lot of people and learn as much as I can. Would be lovely to find a girl that shares the same ideas, so we could do this together. I think I might have find the right one,dunno... Posted Image

I've always wanted to be a Classical Archaeologist. Went on a dig for 6 weeks in Israel last summer and loved it. My parents aren't too fond of the idea though (not much money in it), so for now, it looks as though I'm going to law school to study Con. Law.

I hope to be a lawyer with enough time and money to go on digs all over the world as a hobby :).

Go for your life dream... Fuck the money. Being roundabout about it won't make you happy.
