Last year, I made homemade fortune cookies dipped in white and dark chocolate and this year I'm making heart shaped sugar cookies I think.
Actually, I think they'll be chocolate chip. I remember him devouring an entire dozen one night, I dont know how men can eat so much.

Flowers are shitty (even when dried after, which is a pain btw) but I love house plants! Even if they don't always live, just having green plants in my room and all over the house makes me cheery. I have one miniature palm that i got last year from Food4Less of all places, and that thing is still going. Everything else i water, dies. I hate it.

Most girls also love candles but they can be expensive for some odd reason.

Why buy something at all? Do you have any skills with which you can make something? Why not get creative with ways to serve her? If you're making food... try to think of foods that express something significant about her or about your relationship (rather than merely fancy or tasty, etc.)?

The only chocolate that's no good is Palmer and Dairy Good (they're both owned by the same company) since they're the kind that people only buy for other people and are always last stuff to go when V-Day is over. In short, they taste like chemicals and pseudo-chocolate flavoring.
