Well, even though I have barely any posts, I've been a member since '05. I was kinda active at SlopDog but obviously it isn't up anymore. I try not to spam or make stupid posts, so my post count isn't going to be that high for awhile. Just know I'm not here just to steal answers to the LC or Mystery pic, or mooch off the programs .

I didn't see the changes either. I was just really disappointed to find it was down. Just out of curiosity, why do they still keep the site name and the little picture of the dog up?

...Okay, I just tried to go to the site and it won't work. But like a week or two ago it was still up with the picture and some weird stats for something.

The domain was up for at least a year from what I remember, maybe he planned on running the site longer. Same thing with Neurocube, I came on one day to find nothing but their logo for about 3 years, their logo was updated though.

One of the biggest complaints was about the removal of the "Adults Only Pile."

That and SD's equivalent of chit-chat were the major socialization points on the site.

Deleting that section was probably done for legal purposes (even though you couldn't see it unless you were 18+(?)), but if you delete a big section of a forum, people will be disappointed with its disappearance.

Kind of like when the Graphics section was deleted here.

I was no help with that. All I did post-the "db/backup crash" was bitch about the flamboyantly orange+blue layout and logo. The least he could've done was let us use Loki's old skins, but he removed the skin options (including default), which really ticked me off. Considering he was making a nice profit on premium up until the end, my lasting guess was more legal action taken against him to the extent that costs outweighed all profit.
