I know im new but i ran a search and didnt get any results so i thought that id post it.

the first few times i did apple bobbing, either nothing happened or i lost and item or NP. But lately, before i go to do apple bobbing, i put all NP i have in the bank and deposit all my items.

since ive been doing this ive been getting an item everytime. i dont know if this increases your chances of getting an item or not but i find it interesting.

That may take care of getting your items/NP stolen, but other events can still happen besides getting an item. Your pet could get sick or nothing could happen at all. You've just been having some good luck lately, I suppose.

You can still end up with negative np from random events anyway.

Try going all month with all items, and maybe there will be something to it after all.

I get items a lot, but still no avatar. My boyfriend got it within a week of trying, though. So annoying.

For the avatar, you know that if you have an impostor apple (is that the good name?) in your inventory and the game steals it you can ALSO have the avatar ? (it's not only by giving you the apple )

This sounds like a combination of Hasty Generalization and Post-Hoc fallacies.

Sweeney was right, you can end up with negative NPs. If an item is not on hand, you can't lose it, but you can probably get a neutral event wherein no item is lost.

i've tried a methode like coltzan's one (that things every X minutes, X second, XXX)
no good either..

Generally, just go Apple Bobbing every day and you might get something good in future. It's like every other place in Neopets. YOU NEED GOOD LUCK

I think every "daily freebie" is just plain random and if you happen to get good results; consider yourself lucky.
As for me, I have stopped going to the apple bobbing ever since I've gotten my lutari sick.
