You should be talking to me about Pokemon. I managed to get most of the highschool playing Pokemon last year. And everyone asked me for directions/advice all the time.

I say 45 minutes per shop is a little too long But if that works for you

true. when you become adv. member, try lowering your time settings to 0.1s, then you will have a higher success rate

That's how it was before I got advanced, but now that I have advanced... it's exactly the same, except I control the shops it buys in, which is awesome.
I've had a few times like that myself. They're always surprising when you get something with at least 3k profit in about 10 seconds.

^Looks like my times are pretty fast compared to some other connections I've dealt with proxies before and know they slow you down... maybe that's why mine is a little faster

Yeah, it's like that because it favors the higher profit shops. So it's a good thing. I sure as hell wouldn't want it going back to tiki tack all the time, lol.

Back when Abrosia was first launched and we were trying to collect data on as many shops as possible, the shop selection was completely random...

Then when we collected enough data, we realized some shops were complete rubbish

I know it was all done via the ItemDatabase data... I just forget the specifics of the system, but I think it was something like this:


I think SLink just compiled the shops that had the highest percentage of profitable items... then ranked the shops appropriately.
He then set a cap to the percentage, then evenly distributed the "extra" percentage among the lower-profit shops...

I'm going to hit the site search a little bit to see if it was ever posted on the boards or if it was only in IRC...

If it would be anywhere, it would be in the Abrosia thread... XD
