Over the last couple of days, I get the following message when on Neopets and clicking various links: "You have chosen to open: xxx.phtml which is a: Plain text from: http://www.neopets.com. What should Firefox do with this file?"

I've been through Firefox's standard support page and googled it. No luck. Anyone know how to stop this?

No, but I haven't noticed any pattern. If I cancel and then click the link again, it usually loads as normal.

I use firefox for browing on Neopets too. With me it has been loading up blank pages a lot of lately. Perhaps it does the same for you, but with you it asks to open it up first? Not certain, though.

It's been glitchy since sunday - I use chrome and it's still going to blank pages this morning.

Usually I just reload the address a few times and then it starts working again

I'm getting it for both Firefox AND Chrome. Well, for Firefox it loads a blank page, for Chrome, it loads some weird that doesn't exist thing. If I press reload, it works fine. They really need to fix their servers.... =(

Yeah, Neopets took a holiday and the site went bonkers.

Someone on the Neoboards yesterday had the same problem and was crying that she had a virus. She was also running Ubuntu. XD

using FF too i get blank pages sometimes when clicking on neo links i assume its to do with their side. just refresh the page (F5) for it to load

I don't notice this on Firefox but on IE, the page keeps not loading everyone one in three pages unless I reload it; could that have anything to do with it? Neopets is just having a bad server right now for me.

I guess it's neopets servers' issue, since everyone seems to be loading blank pages in every type of browser.

I'm using firefox but I haven't been having the problem you've been getting.. just blank pages. Still annoying though, but hopefully itll be fixed when they get back.

I also wondered the same thing and so I decided to come here and ask but now I realize that there is already a post about it.

Apparently, according to me they told me and read here, is a bug in neopets,
I hopefully their fix soon

because I usually move very quickly through the pages of neopets and every minute that refresh is rather annoying: P

Its been annoying me forever I've been trying to snipe and have been missing so many because of this.

Ive been also getting a bunch of blank pages it gets annoying cuz I have to go back every time I click to go somewhere and try agian
This explains why I haven't been able to ab anything lately
