whats a bannhammer? I accidentally left my ABer on my side running for like an extra hour or so for the last couple days, and ive been getting banned real quick (like 20 min) consistantly. should i be concerned?

the sooner you start AB'ing / restocking after an RS ban, the sooner you will get RS banned again (and hte longer it will last)

I advise not Ab'ing/Rs'ing for a few days.

K thanks boggart. Ive always legit RSed, but now only on my main. I just dont have the time anymore to spend endlessly rfing a page for pixels, ill just have to confine myself to a few hours

I had kind of assumed it was to do with the new facebook links and stuff .... I have been happily ABing and so far I am fine ... but then I only tend to RS for 3-4 hours every other day or so.

Hypothetically, if I were adding new cheater detection algorithms to my website, I'd certainly wait until they thought it was safe before acting on the collected information.

I use ab and after 1 day and not received any warnings...
only my ab don't buy anything (but this is normal)

Highly doubt this maintenance was to catch cheaters. Mostly likely more Facebook stuff.
I can't help but wonder how they would actually catch us.. I mean, the safest way to AB is to seem as human as possible.

If you guys want to do a good job being paranoid, you're going to have to be a LOT MORE paranoid, or else you'll only be paranoid about stuff that isn't actually out to get you...
