What's the best way to transfer an item that you AB at inhuman speeds on a shell? (Please don't tell me "don't do it") I've heard transferring it like wild to a bunch of your shells is one method, but they may just get chain frozen. I've also heard that transferring it to your main, and then selling it quickly is one method, but that might result in your main going down the tube. So, in your opinion what would you do in this situation? (/what did you do that didn't get you iced)

That's terrible advice xD Chances are you'll both get frozen and then you just inadvertantly stole their money

That doesn't get it to your main. What do you do then? Send it to your main, or do it through ~50k in your shop?

    That's terrible advice apparently :D.
    Have better advice Boggart?

What're you trying to do? Sell it to your main or sell it on your side?

I would gift it to my main. Maybe include a neomail or something if you're anal about it. Then I'd advertise like crazy on the neoboards until someone offers and then I'd put it up on the tp so that person can offer. It limits the time your item will be visible on the tp . Plus it'll take a few days to find someone who wants to buy your item for your price anyways. That wait could be good for you.

If it's somthing big like a MP that you bought at 200 ms, I send over through neofriend option to another spam shell, I then proceed to freeze the autobuying account... Then I send over to another, and freeze the sender, then I secure for a week and hope for the best; after it's secured, it'll go through a coupple more shells without self freezing weather through shop or sending... Finally I can just sell it to my main for an unreasonably low price through TP =P

Of course, all accounts are proxied, and to me, self freezing shells isn't a loss
    ---
But in most other cases, I send it to a proxied shell, then sell through shop in main, since it's probs HTS junk

Transfer to one side. Sometimes the item is fine but the account WILL be iced regardless. Or both the item and account will be iced.

Tranfser the item to a side, let it age for a week or however long you are patient enough to wait.

    3 possibilities:
    1) AB account is iced as well as shell. Good thing you didn't transfer to main
    2) AB account is iced but shell is fine. Wait an amount of time. Transfer
    3) AB account and shell are safe. Transfer to main.

If its an item that can get you iced, might as well just not bother transferring it, as you will get iced.
I've given stuff to actual friends and gotten them iced. Not advised to transfer risky items period.

I never understood this. I make the most obvious trades between my sides and main, usually always under 100k though. I don't AB, but I SS'd for DD, and I use a certain AP on all of them. I've been doing this for years, and TNT has never batted an eyelid at me. Maybe it's because I'm not trading across stuff like Draik eggs and whatnot. Normally it's just money. Maybe they think it's a set of us working cooperatively or something.

^ What Ladida said. I've been transferring small amounts of nps for months and nothing yet. It's only every once in a while and usually not a huge amount, like if I want to buy something.
Biggest amount I've xferred was enough to get the Adam avatar.
Idea?.... Only xfer amount in nps for Adam avvie across shells or to main, that way it doesn't seem suspicious? =D Idk just a thought.
I have yet to xfer big items.. I sell them quickly on the abing shell then hold the money for a couple weeks just in case. If you transfer it too quickly it seems pretty suspicious.

I used to transfer ETS items including HT weaponry across non proxied servers and never got frozen. The highest valued Ab item that I have transferred across a non-proxied server was 300k. I too, haven't encountered any problems regarding being iced.

Did you AT LEAST read the thread before you ask that question ?
I think it's full of useful tips and advices for you to transfer that much money (in "small amounts" little by little using ETS items for example).

I've gotten away with buying a Draik MP at insane times on a shell before. it was on a weekend so I had time to sell.

What I did was I transferred the MP via shop ( fake snipe) to another shell. I sold the Draik MP as fast as I could on my second shell. Then I bought ETS with the NP I made from the draik MP ( Sword of Skarsden ) and transfered that to my main. The shell that AB'ed the draik MP was frozen, the second shell and main were fine.

This was years ago though, not sure if they got better at tracking this sort of thing now a days.

i think the issue was that he bought the item at too quick a speed not the price of the item, haha
