yeah.. that reminds me, whenever i have the urge to play a flash game and have to wait for the stupid ad to pass and load then play the game it is quite annoying sometimes
you would think there are enough ads on each page without the need to load them their as well

Users were able to acquire loans from 21st March 2000, with repayments begining to be debited from the 23rd March 2000. Loans were removed, as they were being abused by users, on 20th May 2000, and since then National Neopian has not offered any lending facilities - in the form of overdrafts, loans, or mortgages - to users.

I love threads like this - although they do make me realise that I've been playing neopets since the first year it started - must have been just after the bank loans as I don't remember them! I disagree with bringing UC pets, I have a couple myself now and I like the rarity factor. I'd definitely bring back war plots, the Meridell Vs. Darigan war was good fun. I'd also bring back the sponsors that you could sign up with to get access to the rainbow fountain - l laugh when I look back now thinking how exciting it was that I painted my Kau Striped for free...

They really should have had an option to either make original, or new style neopets when you create them. It shouldn't be up to them, it's a matter of preference, and I want a UC Krawk without having to dish out three hundred billion NP for it.

Apparently people would create a shell, take out the maximum loan that they could, buy items and sell them to their main/sides (or otherwise transfer the NP) and then self-freeze the account so they never had to repay the loan. Free NP, basically.

Really, nothing else is needed. This alone would, theoretically, solve most problems & annoyances.
Alternatively, however, I'd go with the good ol days of wars. Not this pussy, "balanced", capped bs because children and the ignorant don't know the mechanics of battling/too lazy to learn.
