Is there a way for the search function to be revamped? I understand it's host based, but it just doesn't seem very accurate. I can't seem to find what I'm looking for, and see people constantly berated for not utilizing the search function... I'm stuck in the world of being criticized and frustrated with inadequate search function. Perhaps a guide on how to use the search function to your best benefit. Is there any way it can be remedied? Or am I just retarded and can't operate the search correctly?

I understand it sucks. That's the point. Why navigate to Google every time I want a search query? Why not use the Google sponsored search?

Nothing but by using Google search you can take advantage of Google's advanced search operators. It usually takes less than 20 seconds for me to find specific posts within months or years old topics.

The OP is suggesting that there's something wrong with it which needs fixing but nobody has said anything specific which is supposed to be broken.

    Probably.

It's just that its so specific with no tense threshold. It's only a direct search. I guess Google spoils me and by being American I'm lazy and don't have a Google search bar.

From what I recall about my days playing neopets there were plenty of guides for whatever was around the site. Excluding programs and site events I could not see any other reasons. Oh and throw in excluding neopet styled guides too.

And if that was in reference to me, six years :p
