I just now googled for naruto's time period so I can classify it as the maker has yet to say anything other than "Naruto's Time" and its supposed to be set in our current time period. This makes sense as from what i've seen they are all wearing jump suits with zippers, and I believe it's set in Japan(?) and i do remember hearing/reading that japan still has some of their traditional buildings etc. So i guess it'd be classified as "Current Japan" time period?

Naruto in my opinion has no time period. It's premise is meant to be in some feudal japan (each village is self sustained with a "lord" per village). Communications is through messenger birds and scrolls and parchment and what not. But. I think halfway though the manga artist decided to fuck it and stuck in all sorts of random technology in it that doesn't make sense anymore (no telephones and cars yet there're wireless transceivers, batteries and televisions)

I don't believe it has anything to do with our time because at least our time the people in Japan know what electricity is and Japan's government doesn't match....

And yeah. Nulled vote unless there's a tie I want to break or a sig that I think should get more votes

My sig doesn't really have a time theme Also. Person who made sig 1. If you wanted the transparent bg try making the picture in .png format.

As for a couple of corrections Kat, the siggy #6 is actually ancient ROMAN/Gladiator period and Kuro is a female ;P

LOL, whoops, well guess i got more to fix XD, I'll get that done before someone else see's it XD (it's midnight here, i gotta get up at 6:00 am tomorrow.. i'm tired as I've been staying up late lately. Might cheat on the phone-call to will and go to bed early tomorrow if I can get away with it lol.

@strat: Did you erase the white bg first? If the bg's transparent and it's a .png it should work o.0

i know in illustrator when exporting images to .png
you have to select transparent as the background choice


and i just want to say that #5 was definitely my favorite
it looks great, embodied the theme and would showcase a username very well

1. You'll have to ask around, if you want you can donate to it yourself though.
2. Start the new round this friday, that's the trend that's been going on so far. As for the rest, I'm sure the SOTW rules in any of the SOTW threads will help ya plan out the rest. ^,^

strat, the bg is white, and when i went to try downloading it, it automatically tried to save as a jpg. (just now testing this stuff out) do you think it could have been changed to a jpg?

as for the rest of you guys, until I preview-posted the image on another forum that didn't have white bg, or downloaded it and opened it in gimp. I never once realized that it was trasnparent..

The other time period I would have chosen would have been the '80s since I love that time but thought the masquerade era was better (and more my favourite).

I think i may have saved it as a JPG. I remember it being a checkered bg in photoshop, but probably gave you the .jpg version instead. Oh well doesnt matter now. As for next weeks contest, i'll donate a baby pb to the prize pool
