Now THATS a vain superficial goal. If i ever use the toilet at your place, i'll bring along a scraper and a container to keep the shavings in. Hahaha

Indeed i'd even let you try using the bathtub
Of course if i were rich enough to have such a bathroom, i would probably also have cloth of gold to serve as toilet paper to keep in the theme of the golden bathroom, everything inside must be made of or contain gold

So I want a good husband, smart and beautiful children, a happy family, and success.

I also want, in no particular order...

    1) A pretty house.

Preferably an Eichler with this exact kitchen.
    Spoiler

    2) An adorable menagerie of animals. I will have cats and dogs and rabbits and chinchillas and hedgehogs and ducks and they will all be best frands.
    Spoiler

    3) A chauffeur. My family had a driver when we were living in China. Shit was so cash.

    4) Shoes
    Spoiler

    5) A wilderness pond in my backyard and a small garden so I can be all hippie and sustainable and elitist about it.
    Spoiler

I guess gold colored toilet paper would have to do instead ;\, i just looked up what cloth of gold actually is lol.

Real cloth of gold consists of gold either beaten or worked into long strips and wound around a core (such as silk) and then this thread is used in weaving a very rich fabric, which is relatively stiff, heavy, and expensive.

Could probably still use it for the towels though

I really just want somewhere safe to live, a good amount of money & job, and other boring stuff like that :p

If I could go out and buy dumb stuff right now though...
Trampoline, skates, halfpipe, nice skateboard, big ol' house, ubercomputer, every game system and game ever released, uberlaptop, infinite nachos, cool chess sets, nicer clothes, and some epic pets. Probably more stuff, but that's all I can think of now :p
I guess none of that is too vain or showy. I think I'm more apt to buy stupid things than showy things. It's still superficial stuff though haha

If you ever have gold toilet paper or gold towels in your toilets, dont be shocked to find that you might discover them disappearing thread by thread. I dont think gold towels would be very effective, it wouldn't absorb water and you'd just be spreading it all over your body no? Bathing in luxury, a whole new meaning?

nah the towels arnt made of gold, they are made of regular yarn or w/e it is you make towels with, but the "yarn" is essentially lined with gold. giving it the shiny coloring

Lady Gaga in the making? Tigers or Great Danes?

But seriously, the gym idea is nice. With all the people now looking for a place to work out. Just dont make it one of those gyms that try to con money out of people! :)

Pff Lady Gaga Will be my wifey XD
We do have a ok a gym around here for 10 bucks a month but its silly...it's planet fitness and their motto is "the judgement free zone" which is so damn hypocritical of them because I'm training a competition they don't like people sweating everywhere (even though I wipe), or people doing heavy weights.
I understand the business side to it all, and what serious gym members want. NO BS. (: Sorry for that lil rant -__- You should join my crusade!

The point is that they don't judge people that are new to working out :p
    They want to deter meatheads.

That said, I go to PF, and I definitely judge skinny kids who work out in Ed Hardy clothes and think they're big.

Lol I'm not getting that message from their commercials they make. The commercials they have out now are just stupid, and ignorant. Trust me though meatheads are the last ones to judge people...9/10 they are the ones that want to help people in the gym. PF is ok they just run out of 45's to use, and only have one squat rack -__- and haha yea those kids need to realize they look like idiots. A little bit of muscle doesn't make you any more of a man, or tougher.

They are definitely ignorant, a lot of the biggest guys are the friendliest. I had a political conversation with this huge guy that spotted me. He was the last person I thought would be into that stuff.
However, those new to working out get the wrong idea from people like that. People with low confidence think everyone is judging them. And the PF near me also only has smith press and the DBs only go to 60 which is a big pain in the ass.

Yea unfortunately training guys its always like that...unlike females who really don't give in to that BS. I just remember personally whenever I saw someone who had a nice physique I would be more motivated. But people come with all different kinds of mentalities. Eww the smith machine XD and really the dumbbells are only 60? We have 75's (: suck it! And I was talking to the manager there and theres some interesting news about PF...apparently they are starting to remove all dumbbells, and and free weight and just keep machines. grr

Since we're talking about gyms as vain goals, it makes me think of this article about the vainest US cities. I think it's ridiculous that they consider gym membership and lack of obesity as being requisites to VANITY rather than, y'know, health. I know they mention that later on, but still.
