I think there are already UC's who don't exist anymore , because of the many users who are frozen or lost account info.
I hope they will release somehow 'stuck' pet's trough the pound.

Wait... so UC's are pets... that used to be painted, but then the paint color changed, and the UC pet's colors were not changed?

unconverted pets. they are pets that look very differently when neopets wanted revamp all images to introduce neocash. so the owners have an option to keep them the way they are. you cant make them now. the most common paint that have UC are robot and plushie

If you really want an UC buy a draik morphing potion and offer a custom draik on the PC board you will have a lot of trade requests

I think UC cybunnies are pretty common as far as UCs go though. One of my neofriends has a UC plushie cybunny and a UC grey cybunny.
