I'm currently having problems with Abrosia. I left it on for approximately 6 hours and throughout the whole time, it only purchased 2 items. I'm sure that the shops are refreshing at a faster rate than this, especially since it was the fresh food shop. My profit minimum was set at 5000 so there should have been quite a number of items that it should have detected.

Is there something wrong with my settings or the program itself? I've tried uninstalling it, i've tried syncing it to my browser, my refresh times are betweek 5.0 - 9.0 and my OCR and Pre-Haggle range are all below 1.0.

Does anyone have any advice on what could be causing difficulties for Abrosia to detect items in the shop?

Thanks for the time!

    You may have slow internet.

    Try setting the profit lower.

What times did you get for the two items?

    Try a different shop.

My internet speed is 100 MBPS

Maybe its the profit, the timing was very close for the first 2 items and then no purchase for the rest of the time. Just alot of misses. I will try another shop and see. Thanks

If your buying time is above 3seconds, then its too slow.

your speed isn`t 100 mbps thats you connection speed meaning lan connection
do a speed test at speedtest.net or something then look at things like ping and download speed then post your results here
ping really matters if you have a shitty ping then your buys will be slow.
what was the speed of the 2 buys you got in ms?

I can't think of anything causing slow buying times for you unless you are using a slow proxy or have slow internet.
Those settings you have are similar to what I use and my average buy time is 3.5ms, with an average rate of 1 in 4 buy attempts being successful.
I'd recommend you set your profit minimum lower, maybe to 2.5k... and also set your OCR and PH lower til you can get a reasonable buying speed.

your buy speed is very slow no wonder youve been missing so many items
maybe because your ping is slow
    maybe increase your ocr timing

You haven't answered my question about those results you posted, were they results of A DAY OF AB-ing?

That is why I asked it in the first place, but it COULD be that he leaves it on for 6 hours whenver AB-ing.. Over a period of time. I was thinkin, why would anyone be askin about something like that if it's only been a day.. Hence my question.

This is slightly off topic, but related to a post earlier in the thread - what is classed as a good ping time?

I would say a good ping time is less than 20ms, bad anything above 30ms imo.

Okay, here are my results from speedtest.net

    Ping : 11ms

    DL Speed : 7.85 mbps
    UL speed : 1.08 mbps

So it kinda looks like its pretty fast. I'm not a techie and am a complete computer idiot, so i assume 11ms ping is good?

These were the constant settings for 2-3 days of AB-ing. All times were around that long. I think i've solved the issue, so i'm attempting some different things. Upgraded my browser from Explorer 7 to Explorer 9 and got the latest Flash Patch 10.3.

Hopefully, this will even things out, i'm not sure. Will post up here if things get better. :D

I think he was referring to ping time. Buying time would be measured in seconds, but ping has something to do with internet connectivity. So that site that was posted above, apparently shows you your connectivity ping, and apparently mine was 11ms, so i'm all in the good for that. You had better get some rest. :)

Well, i've left my Abrosia ABing over night. I managed to snag around 9 items this time. Didn't lower the minimum profit rate, so i dont think its that issue. Managed to snag around 9 items this time. So, since i've upgraded my browser and flash, it seems that things are getting better. Well, maybe that solves the issue. Will keep the situation appraised, thanks to everyone for all their helpful comments.

    ^^^ Iced yet? :D

But try lowering profits. Unless you have advanced, it'll be very hard to get good things with your refresh times...

Upgrading your internet browser wont do anything to increase your times...
