If everyone is a reseller, how do they make any profit? I know patience is key but it just seems like 99% of people are resellers now. I can never seem to get a serious offer on items anymore. Opinions on resellers, their methods, or anything of that matter?

Yes, they are helpful for HTS items but they've moved on to ETS as well.***

Maybe they lowball so that can sell to other resellers for a bit more than what they paid.

    HTS items are well... HTS.
You just wait and hope for someone to come and pay maybe 75% of the price.

Oh well I understand HTS and everything, but people will offer way lower than 75% these days. They are also moving on to ETS, which is the one thing that bothers me the most. ETS is becoming HTS because the only people buying things these days are resellers. The only thing I can think of that is truly ETS is the baby paint brush and maybe faerie paint brush. There might be more but those are the only things I can think of where you can get full price and barely any reseller offers.

My opinion about resellers: They're the most useful tools for me. I restock in plushies and at the attic as well. It's not common for me to find a very undesirable item. The higher valued items I AB are almost always HTS. Resellers helps me get rid of these items. Hypothetically, I AB a 200K HTS item for 6K. I decided to sell it in my shop for 99,999 NP. A reseller would buy that item within minutes. Do I care about potentially losing a 100K profit? No because if I can't sell the item, I lose 6K at that point. I am impatient and am not willing to waste my time time finding a buyer for the full price. I could use that time to... sleep. If anything, I applaud the resellers for using negotiating skills and patience to earn a profit.

Like Keil says, I don't mind selling 100-900k HTS items for 99k. But when people are offering 100-400k for my 1.5 -3 mil HTS on the Trading board I get kind of annoyed.

    Lowest I ever go is 10% :o
And people do accept at that price <3
Then I resell at 50% to a noob reseller.

I agree, they are useful for HTS items and I applaud them for that. But what I'm talking about is ETS and their outrageous prices.

Most resellers don't sell to other resellers.
They wait or a nub/person who wants to buy the item or auction it off.
    I hate dealing with resellers.
They are so stingy, so I just auction off my items and that works fine.

and they are rude in doing that too

Resellers are good. You sell an item cheaper, but faster. Nothing wrong...

Most people claiming to be resellers are cheaters that want t explain how they got that many items.

I resell on my 'legit' main, I don't sell to other resellers for obvious reasons and most items I will just hold onto until either a foolish reseller comes along and offers more than I paid for an item or I bump into a collector/quester. Yeah item turnover is usually pretty slow but I don't use the cash for anything else other than bank interest. I also love running into blatant AB accounts (less than 100 avvies, still using default avvie, shit named etc) because I can usually cut a deal with them saying I'll buyout all your trades for blah blah NP. I can make a lot of NP this way but the items may still take a while to sell, AB accounts don't have said time because every few days I'll check to see if they have any more lots up and the account has usually been iced. Also these 'ETS' MP's etc that have trade prices of millions are still relatively HTS for anywhere close to that amount so that's why people will lowball them as well.

    ---

Also if you are wanting to shift a lot of illegit items fast hit me up a PM and we can sort something out xP

Yeah usually you'll have a good time with auctioning--usually people there will buy at a marginally larger price than reseller price, whatever gives them a reasonable amount of profit. You'll get near what you wanted anyways. It's kind of how economics works.
