So after playing two games, I've noticed several key points.

Arrow keys move, space shoots if you have it, changes your person if you don't have the ball.

How to score.

Get the ball to the other end. If the goalie catches it, just stand in front of him and press space, then space again. First time you steal the ball and he runs away, then you score. GG

When can you not score?

The fire ball. You throw it too soon to run down and its impossible to pass. I suggest letting them score as fast as possible to maximize your score.

Just read the instructions :3

Usually, I just get the ball first and start holding space, then shoot from the middle.
You can shoot from like wherever, just move a little up or down before shooting to "trick" the goalie.

After getting the hang of it, it seems a lot easier than last year's version.

It is easier in my opinion as well. Is it me or is the goalie just plain slower now? When I "trick" the goalie, the goalie actually takes time to move. I practically can just shoot straight into the goal without moving to sharp angles like last year. What really annoys me about the new YYB game is that (correct me if I'm wrong, I'm still getting used to the game) the player closest to ball ball gets toggled and you must use that character. It may get annoying when it comes to setting up the MvP with the most goals.

argue's goalie tricks works for me,
I usually win 4-1 or something along those lines.

I've rarely kicked it in myself without 'tricking'
The way the opponent scores, is usually from me throwing it in my own goal.
lol, thought that's not happening as often now. =D

Yeah im still up in the air about this version. I dont mind it, but it lags a bit on my now ancient (2 years old) computer..... Other than that, its ok i guess. I still prefer using the mouse.

Highest score for me so far is 16-0

This is my first time playing YYB and other than the crappy player switching, it's not too bad.
Kinda glad there's no need for a mouse, else it'd be really hard playing on my laptop

Mehh, I'm using that 'stand in front of the goalie, steal ball and score' thing.
But that's just boring really.

I miss the old game. It was much more exciting to play.
My computer hates when I press more then 3 keys at the same time.

Scoring is not a problem for me.

But I think defending is so difficult.

There is no 10s off after scoring from either side - takes loads more time than the previous version.
unless TNT reduce the points required for the highest level that one can obtain, I doubt whether I can get full star this year. (forgotten the name - full star or all star?)

I dunno what's wrong with my cheat engine. It just doesn't work anymore. I cant use speed hack, or AoB.

im with DC. i prefer the old version though. its kind of hard using the keyboard to move around =/
