I'm pretty sure if they see like a bunch of people on the same IP, they are able to see that it is a campus and make the distinction not to freeze everyone there.
I read somewhere that each computer has a different IP address. Something about dynamic/static IP's. I don't know the exact specifics.
But ultimately, treat it just like the connection at your house. It works pretty much the same way.
Many schools also require a login of sorts to access the internet, so I suppose that /could/ into play somewhere too.

Each computer will have a different MAC address, and will be assigned a different internal IP address from the router, but all computers connecting through the router will show the same IP.

Also, users will have varying User Agents depending on browser, OS, etc.

........so some people actually successfully multi-account using separate browsers ;)

If I do dailies on other accounts and collect avatars with no inter-account transfers, would that still be freezable?
Reason is one of them is a really old account and I want to get its avatar count up, but all I do is dailies (Adver-vid) which is hardly enough to fund it for games like Cheeseroller. I don't play flash games on those accounts.

I agree. I mean if I was using a public computer that would mean they banned all computers in a library or in that facility. I would imagine that is not very effective.

Plus it never really stopped me lol. I just used a proxy. lol. fail whale.

Um i don't think so. That's not bad enough for them to want to hunt you down and nuke you neopian style.
