Anyone like this show? I find it hilarious, but I know it gets a lot of mixed reactions. What do you guys think

Dale was always my favorite character, mostly because he was paranoid, but about all the wrong things.

KotH was pretty hit and miss for me. Some episodes were gold, and others were 30 minutes of wasted time. I appreciate Mike Judge's work, though, making an animated show that lasted more than one season and didn't fall into the traditional mold of today's animated comedies.

Jees, I frickin' love KOTH!! Its definitely not everyone's cup of tea, it did take me a while to get into it. The first time I watched it I was only used to The Simpsons and South Park, so I was all "what the hell was that?", but after you get to "know" the characters and the humor in the show you fall in love with it. The characters aren't all caricatures of themselves, they all have their interesting little quirks, except Lucky... I HATE that hillbilly.

I agree with jcrboy though, while many of the plotlines are pretty good, there were a several that I just couldn't stand, like that weird halloween pig-guy episode, or the one about christian rock. The last couple seasons had declining quality, also.

So I'd watch it just because I could. I think it came on after Simpsons and before South Park (which my dad didn't let me watch back then)

I like it a lot. It's not drop dead funny but the stories are really good. And when they do try to be funny it's always a hit.

By the way Dale, my favourite character is based on Hunter S.

Nah series ended almost 2 years ago. =/

It stayed fresh all the way to the end.

This is pretty much how I feel about it. But I think the characters are really good. Bobby always cracks me up.
It always makes me uncomfortable when Peggy speaks Spanish, though.

love it! In one of the episodes, hank and bobby travel to my home town to visit the dallas cowboys training camp! They kinda nailed my lame ass town, though.

Oh my god, I love this show. You'd think I might hate it because it's about silly people in Texas, but I actually like it.
Freakin' Boomhauer is my favorite character. "dangit aw man with the thing" i can't even do an impression of him
and Peggy because she's so nasally but interesting

I don't know, but it's very entertaining. I think because I know how accurate these characters are by Texas standards..
I feel like I know these people, because I meet people like them everyday.

And southern stereotypes are just plain funny.

The show actually makes me uncomfortable sometimes because of how accurate the characters are. Sometimes it's just too shameful for me to bear.

I LOVE King of The Hill! I have for many years too. I never understood why some people really hated it so much, I guess because it's not Family Guy, force feeding jokes down your throat.

KotH is easily the best of the animated comedies.

Peggy Hill is the greatest animated character of all time.
