Curious to know if anyone has experienced such a phenomenon? Or know anyone who has? Personally i have not, but would like to maybe experience it once... providing i come back. However, since i sort of dont believe in the "afterlife", i am kind of a skeptic. I have seen shows about ppl who have these out-of-body experiences, seeing lights and floating above themselves.. etc. Just wanting to know what others think. thanks :)

Most of it is in your head however some of it is real I stayed with my girlfriend in a cottage once that had a stone fire place. when it was dark and you go upstairs the bedroom is literary at the top you can hear a stone keep being throwed at the bricks. If you went down there it would stop but then go upstaires it would start again. There were no stones down by the fire place and happened every night. It was scary at the time but now you think about it it wasn't going to harm you so why be scared? Afterlife is there but only for them that can't go towards the light who should not have died and are very angry.

Some latino lady tried to drown me at a campground pool once when I was like 12 or 13. It was definitely scary as hell, and I held my breath under water for way longer than I ever have.
I kicked that bitch as hard as I could in her flabby stomach to get away, but that was after I was under water for at least a minute to a minute and a half trying to get her off me.
I seriously remember the whole thing... I remember exactly what she looked like, how I felt, what the water felt like around me.

The funny thing is though is that I never felt like I was gunna die until afterwards. All that I was thinking was that I had to get this lady off me- I think if I actually thought I was gunna die I would have been too distracted to kick her. I remember one moment when I got a chance to get air I tried to get my brother, who was sitting outside the pool, to help me and he just sat there frozen not knowing what to do. Posted Image

Anyways- thats my near death experience.

...WTF?? Why in God's name was she trying to drown you?? Did you at least get that scary lady in jail?

Anyways... despite thinking I was going to die from eating a grilled cheese sandwich, I did not see anything except for red-stained sink. No angels singing in a choir for me, no light ends of the tunnel except for a harshly lit ER. I think I was way too filled with adrenaline to black out properly, so I can't tell you. Next time I think I'm going to die, I'll let you know.

That is horrible! Why would she do that?!

My near death experience was at West Edmonton Mall when I was 7 at the wave pool. I was so small that the waves knocked me over and whenever I tried to get up for air, a wave would crash into me and I kept getting knocked over. I was probably under water for shortly less than a minute before my cousin pulled me out of the water (he was 19). I'm not entirely sure if it's near-death, but that moment of panic and helplessness was horrible.

One of mu near-death experiences was probably at the beach. I was like 8 I think, and I got sucked in by the undertow pretty far. I'm not even sure how the hell I got out of it, but I did. I even hit my legs on some rocks and got cut up pretty bad. Scariest moment of my life, I'm still afraid of that happening again but I don't think I could stay away from the ocean.

One time I was climbing over a friend's fence and I accidently hit my hand on one of those wires hanging off a house. I don't remember what kind but I got a pretty good shock off that, and my friend was like "Holy shiiiit" cause my eyes were bloodshot and my hair stood on end. :p My parents were like you could have diiiiied and I was like nah I'm invincible. Never broken a bone or anything like that my whole life.. *knocks on wood*

I have no idea why she did it, and when my brother and I went back to our cabin and told his grandmother, who took us on the trip, she like... didn't do anything. I don't think she took me seriously, that or she didn't care. So, no that lady roamed free after that with her big group of people. :-/

My friends held me underwater for a while to joke with me when i was like 7 but I really thought I was going to die.

A couple years ago I totalled my car and those moments while I was crashing were so slow and scary. When I finally got the door open and got out (miraculously unscathed) I was freaking out because my headlights were out and my horn was broken on the highway at night. And because I almost died.

I have surprisingly never had a near death experience which really is a total feat with me... I'm always nursing some wound of some sort. Closest I've ever probably come was when I had bronchitis, pneumonia, and chicken pox and wandered around in a state of delirium when I was supposed to walk home in the snow. I ended up in the hospital for a few days to get an IV of antibiotics/bruises/cuts cleaned up but was fine ha.

Apparently when i was a wee toddler, my mother went to get food at the swimming pool and left me near the deck chairs. I managed to climb into the deep end of the pool and was rescued by an aging grandmother doing laps. Does that count?
