Sorry Duke, Read the following quotes as I'm not sure how I'm reading into it too much.

Now Duke, this post is what brought on my post containing my theory as to why it might be that way. Now that you understand where I'm coming from, I'd just like to say "read other posts besides the most recent before jumping onto assumptions. That's your opinion. I never thought it had to be one being better than the other. "Women vs Men" can also be interpreted as merely defining differences or similarities, not necessarily which is 'better'.

This is what i was trying to convey earlier about the theme not necessarily being the typical men are better/women are better etc.

If people choose not to actually think about it, well, that's their fault.

If I still did sigs, I would probably do something about androgyny because I don't believe in the end, with all of the diversity of people, we are that different. There are feminine men and masculine women which completely bend the boundaries and I find them fascinating.

never actually read that book, i always figured it was a book written by a woman talking about all the multiple disagreements that happen in a relationship simply because of each having different types of interpretations. Most men/women arguments I've ever heard aren't compare/contrast between the two, but a whole "men/women are better than women/men"

surely you can understand from that why that is the only interpretation I could dig from it. If only I'd had known it was a compare/contrast rather than a "who is better" I would have been able to get into the theme and make a sig, but until now to me "men vs women" always referred to an argument/debate over which was better.
