Okay, so I'm not sure if this is the right forum, but anyways..
I made a layout for my user look-up, and I was on Safari at the time. Everything looked fine. Then I went on google chrome to look at it and the colors were off (I have a picture in the bottom-right with a background, then put a background color in the code), the bg of the image and the page didnt match. So I switched the color and it matched on google chrome, but no longer matched on Safari. Does anyone know whats going on, and any way to fix this problem?
Thank you :)

Browsers display things differently, it's not really a problem, just code it for the browser you think that most people will be using.

Stuff like this has wasted SO much of my time! Trying to code cross-browser seems to be a punishment that should be reserved for the fiery pits of Hell. My advice, choose a browser, stick to it (just don't choose IE). Normally I make sure my site looks fine in Chrome and Firefox, and sometimes I check Safari. But if it looks fine in one browser, and not in another, it's not you, it's the browser. Usually when that happens, I just knock out that bit of code altogether and try to find another way of getting it done to work in both.

okay, great, thank you! Yeah, there are so many issues with getting layouts to work on multiple browsers. I've found the best thing to do is save the files as PNG so I can leave the background space transparent, then add a bg color. That makes it work, except I've heard that PNG files dont show up in IE or something like that? I dont know though, I dont have IE. I'll just take your advice and not worry about it :p
