It looks awesome on here, but i wonder how it would look on actual skin. Best of luck with the hours of utter pain xD

Out of curiosity has the guy you've gone to ever done fractal work before? I'd be very iffy on having someone do it who hasn't as the lines really do need to be perfect.

i can never decide what i want on a tattoo. i feel like my taste always changes and i don't want something i'll regret.
anyways, i think the design of it would look really cool if the artist can mesh the top and mechanical part together really well. is the top gonna be in color like you have it shown?
i would minus the portal holes... seems kinda overdone but i don't play the game so i'm just not a fan of it.

i highly doubt that the actual tattoo will turn out with the same quality as your image, because for one you are probably not gonna get the colors to be as vibrant as your image especially the white parts, and two the artist is not going to be able to reproduce it exactly as you have there, and your design seems pretty intricate to me especially the blue and red parts on the top. My opinion is to simplify the upper portion or make it all the same theme consisting of only using the style you use in the bottom portion

    Yes, the guy's amazing. He's around $200/hour.

    :I

    PLUS tip.

But Idk, I've had so many new ideas flowing through my head since the start of this thread. It'd probably be easier if theres a company that makes custom slip-on sleeves xD

    I'd like that. :p

It would be awful if, after some years, you decide that you don't want a tattoo anymore =/
    Think about it carefully =P

I always wait a year from initial conception and design of my tattoo to actual inking. It's saved me a ton of heart ache. If you're already thinking of new things, don't get this inked.

As for the custom sleeves, get some pantyhose and paint them. Voila. :p

Awesome work. That's a shit load better than all the tribals I see on people's arms these days. Infact I'd say they've ruined tribal art since the whole point of those tattoo's was to show achievement. For example my cousin who is an islander has a tribal which he earned through his service to his local community in the cook islands. While in the same blink of an eye I see some scrawny white boy walking around like he's a big coconut? Alas, I digress.

I love how you've incorporated Alex Grey, he's truly an artistic genius or atleast in my opinion. I'd also love to see a photo if you ever get it done :)

    Peace.
