LOL

I never thought I'd have to say this.

I found a shop that sold all ten codestones for a fair price, which I'd never seen before, so I bookmarked it.
The guy actually Neomails me (fishy, I know) "advertising" his shop.

The next time I train, I go to the bookmarked shop, and I get a weird "the owner has changed the price of xxx click here" message with a typo (yep, a typo) in it.
I assumed it was because I had left my search details in the bookmark. I want to say I checked that the link went back to neopets.com/xxxxxx, but I can't remember. I click it.
You know, this was really stupid.
I bought the codestones though.
lol

I'm not sure what happened, but Abrosia couldn't log in, and Neopets is telling me I've tried guessing my password too many times. I guess I'll find out in an hour, lol.

Here's the shop for reference (hope this isn't against the rules):

Welp. What was the original post?

I thought I was in the clear once I rebookmarked it without the search terms and the message disappeared, at least.

    I'LL FIND OUT SOON.

Well how else would you get them? I usually buy codestones in bulk from shops.

So, I wasn't scammed. TNT is terrible.

That typo in the message was really what got me going.
I'll leave that shop link up if it's cool. It seems pretty legit if he can actually keep it stocked.

(I have no idea how that is a viable business model. Maybe Tombola on 40,000 different accounts?)

Well, now that we both got tricked by TNT's troll servers and survived, I wonder if this will happen again and with more people =/
Anyways, congratz on not losing your account, lol.

Weird that there was a typo :o

But just for other people's sake, if you keep the search function in your bookmark and they change their price, whether higher or lower, you will get that stupid green grarrl telling you the price has changed.

This goes for our item database too; it's not a scam (per se), it's just what happens

I'm going to be suspicious of any 3-day-old account with a shop like that.

Yeah, the whole thing was pretty stupid on my part.

It took me like three minutes to decipher the message because it started with the phrase "The that this owner." And I still clicked it.
