I investigated a bit. You're absolutely right. My mistake. He is accused of terrorism and serious acts of terrorism are punishable by imprisonment up to 30 years.

Don't quote me on this, but I heard that even though the law says it can only be X amount of time one can be sentenced to, they still have to prove they've been rehabilitated to live in society again before being released. Kind of like here someone will be sentenced to life with the possibility of parole after 30 years served time.

I still can't believe someone would do such thing, killing one person is terrible, killing 76 is sick. Its sad to think that even now that we're theoretically civilized enough to be able to build and create amazing stuff people are still able to kill each other.
Early this year something like that happened here too, a crazy guy entered his old school and killed a lot of students, I cant even imagine how the survivors are living their lives, some of them saw their dearest friends being executed, one by one...

You're such a precious little sweetie pie, I want to hug you till you suffocate.
It's hard to carry on when you loose someone you love, even harder when they've been stolen away in a violent manner. But life does go on.
These sort of things just show you that even though humanity has advanced technologically, people are still just a bunch of blood hungry animals fighting against anything they feel threatens their own survival.

My mother always told me that violence was human nature, and even if we try to hide it ( and most of us do it very well), people who cant will always remember us of this fact... Even if we deny it, whenever we feel ourselves in danger, or are being hurt or seen someone we love being hurt, we just become a mindless beast and do stupid/violent acts... (Unless we're in fear, then we usually do nothing because our body just doesn't answer)
