I've been at around 55kg (~125lb) for the past 6 years. My metabolism allows me to eat as much junk food as I want and not gain a single kilogram ^_^
I am pretty active at the moment though, but it's more recreational sports with mates than working out to keep in shape.

Anyone got any good workout routines for arms, chest, shoulders/back, legs? I started working out again but I dont remember my routines, so if anyone could post some that'd be nice. Preferably with one major and one minor muscle group in each routine.

How often do you expect to go to the gym?

I'd say chest/biceps, legs, back/triceps, shoulders/misc (abs, calfs if neglected them). What kind of rep ranges and set# you use is based on your goal, but I don't think you can go wrong with a mix.

    i.e. chest/bi day

    3x5 Bench Press (strength)
    3x5 curl
    2x10 incline fly(size)
    2x10 preacher curl etc, etc.

Also, how long have you not worked out? If it's been a long time, try a routine like starting strength to develop a strong base to build off of with a more advanced routine later.

I find it interesting how there are such active people who play on pc all day, kind of like, gamer by day, sexy person by night kind of thing?

People are apt to exaggerate their physical activity too. :p

I imagine though that a lot of us were active as kids thanks to sports. I started working out when I stopped playing hockey, because I didn't want to become a flabby nerd.

This is going to sound sad, but I work out with The Biggest Loser game on my xbox. Originally got it for my wife who wanted it. But since I'm an achievement whore, I had to play it and try to get all the achievements. Since then I've been feeling great and have fun doing it! Puts you in some decent shape.

chest/biceps? I'd rather not work two major muscles in one workout though.
Its been a few months since I last worked out. Right now what I'm doing is chest/shoulders.
For chest I'm doing 3x10 bench, incline, and decline press and pec deck. Shoulders I do a lotta random stuff with dumbbells.
For arms I was wondering if it would be better to do something along the lines of dropsets or pyramid sets instead of regular sets.

I'd argue that biceps aren't a major muscle group. :p I suppose you could classify arms as a group and hit bi's and tri's. I don't think there's a wrong way to work them, if you asked 10 people the best way to hit your arms, you'd get 11 opinions.

that. deserved to be quoted x)

NTS, read this topic to get inspired to run ugh.
working on the elliptical 3 hours? god i can only get to half an hour at once, i go on the cardio setting so it gains intensity then plateaus or somethng.
but yeah, thin isn't always fit. i'm not flabby at all but i'd love to build some muscle, i think it just looks so much better.

Looks like there are a lot of fit people around here.

My workout consists of jogging (and its variants) during semester time and tennis during the holidays. That's about all I do. I'll try to keep my jogging sessions under 1 hour because it gets too boring after that.

I read that taking a hot shower for 5 min, then taking a cold water shower will help relax the muscles.
Get good sleep, eat carbs if you're going for fitness, stay away from carbs if you're trying to burn fat, etc.
