Two plans :
A).I'm considering transferring the funds from an old friend's main (51 months and was obtained because he quit) slowly through a few shell/dummy accounts and then into my new main (only a 1 week old). I've planned out a gradual 1 month complete transfer.

B).The other option is just buying a Maraquan paint brush for 7 mil and trading it across - feigning it as some sort of gift for a friend - to the new main. However, I'm just worried that 1) the trade will alert TNT since the new main is only a week old and 2) that i won't be able to sell the brush ( there has been a decline in brush sale profitability for a while now).

Any suggestion people?

I'd probably do option A. It's guaranteed all the nps will be transferred and less suspicious.

^ I was going to say, Gbomb would be better. I've been transferring NP that way (by gifting) for a few months now and I'm a-okay.

I'd recommend buying a paintbrush on the trading post, or something similar
than give the paint brush(or other expensive item) to your friend via-"send gift to neofriend" option with the item drop down menue.

That's how I gave a christmas paintbrush to one of my side accounts ^^;
Your friend can than put it up for auction or something similiar

I'd be too impatient to wait a month. Either gift a high-end ETS item or transfer it through your shop.

I gift high value items frequently between accounts and haven't had a problem yet (3 months +) when I first created the account I transferred an illegitimately gained item(5mil+), The shell was frozen but that account was left alone with the item..

I transfer my nps from my AAA shell to my newly created main all the time all done via trading post. Nothing to be afraid of!

I've had no issues come up with my 2 month old side. I've had several large amounts of NPs transferred to and from that account and nothing's really come up. =o
But I'd probably go with plan A. ^^

just transferred 17mil in items today with TP directly without using any ETS ,just those I restocked in my shells LOL

I am still waiting to see if I will get frozen in this way (Have a test )

Can you explain, why shop aren't secure?

I thought shops are okay when you delete the history after buying, so TNTcan't track back.
I also thought that gifting is very risky because the account are then connected to each other??

Doesn't matter if you delete the history, it'll still be logged. Also, I suggest you buy a group of Ghostkerbombs. It was how i successfully transferred my funds. Of course it'll cost you 500k each bomb since people will only buy them at around 7mil.
