hey everyone, just joined a min ago. i had a few questions so i thought id start asking away while i deprive myself of sleep




question about shells: what would be the preffered way in which to transfer items/np between my main and any shells i use? im actually using my main to try out abrosia right now with a proxy set up. im well aged, and i doubt they would catch on right away so i feel confident to use it for now till i have a better understanding of how to best use the resources here.




question about post count: so i noticed on the general chat description posts there dont count towards your 500. could someone give me a quick overview of what does and doesnt count towards my 500 posts?

First of all, welcome to the site. As I say to everyone I greet, you'll be fine as long as you dont scam or spam, and I hope to see you stick around a long time. Any other questions, feel free to PM me, I wont bite, at least, not that hard.
For transferring, the best way would probably have to be just trading the items over the trading post. As for post count, im pretty sure you get it everywhere but introductions, the trading post, and chit-chat, but someone correct me if im wrong.

cool, thanks. im more of a lurker but ill have to get over that i guess interesting the intro chat doesnt count, i was wondering why my post count hadent gone up. i assumed it was more along the lines of waiting for admin approval. good to know. im too tired right now to bother with reading q&a stuff

Please someone correct me if I am wrong but at 500 posts one time thats how you would become advanced member, I think that has changed now though, Just read threw the announcements and stuff and you should be fine. Oh and welcome to neocodex!

i havent noticed anything saying otherwise concerning the 500 posts. just was wondering about seeing the restrictions concerning certain forum types.




ive been checking stuff out while i can, gotta go out of town for the weekend so ive got limited time to look over rules and such. so far it seems pretty simple. in the meantime abrosia is working. got one item, i have a slow comp though. and the settings they start you out with are obviously slowed to favor longtime users so i cant expect much at first. better than doing it mysle fthough as it frees me to sit and chat

The staff are talking about the advanced member requirements, but 500 posts is still a general guideline (i.e. it's about the time you have proven you deserve it kinda deal).
