How the fuck is Jon Huntsman garnering more attention than Ron Paul? Fuck even Sarah Palin last time I was watching CNN. Some people are hatin' on the Paul. Also I voted yes to voting Republican because I will do so in my mind. Ron Paul might not be the most favourite but at least he is semi honest and when it comes to debates he doesn't change his god damn campaign slogans.

Sucks to be an american IMO. LOL

I'm sick of the drama of the political system in this country. Especially lately with this whole S&P downgrade... all of it just pisses me off. I hate how these idiots control our government.
I have no idea who I will be voting for, if I even vote. :( I don't like any of the potentials that have come forward, republican or democrat.

Don't say that. Some day you might be rich and you'll have to vote republican to protect your own interests.

Honestly, I haven't looked into it enough yet. I doubt I'd vote GOP, though. While I'd consider myself conservative, they're batshit insane.

As a Canadian, all I can think when I see anything to do with the Republican Primary is how absurd it all is. Every single one of the potential candidates is either dangerous, or just completely loopy. Sure Ron Paul is "principled", but he's incredibly dangerous imo. His financial policies would put the country almost completely in the hands of corporations, and his views on healthcare and the environment are equally scary. Furthermore, the "success" of Sarah Palin has turned the whole process into a quest for money. You can bet that Bachmann, regardless of whether she gets the nomination or not, is going to be raking in cash from Fox et al.

Best case scenario is that Michele Bachmann gets the nomination and gets blown out of the water by Obama.

You speak a lot of sense.

Naturally, you wouldn't fit in very well here in the States.
