First, I do realize with default settings I don't have a high probability of getting anything.. I'm just curious how risky stamp is compared to magic or battle magic with a refresh rate of say 8.0-10.0

i used to be there with 0.2-0.3 settings

Call it luck but with a refresh rate of 8-8.5 I napped a 100k profit stamp within the first 30 minutes. I don't think the probability difference is huge between a low and higher refresh rate just depends on whether or not you catch the restock the second you refresh. But the risk of getting frozen seems substantially higher when your rate is 3 seconds compared to 8 seconds..

You'd had nabbed 15 items with 10k profit on a "small shop".
The real risk there is getting greedy and lowering settings too much.

To each their own.. I'm happy being restricted to 8+ seconds so I'm not tempted to get greedy. Just got another UB stamp (but missed some others) but I feel safer getting 1-2 items per hour rather than a ton which would add suspicion to my account. Oh well I'm content and you guys answered my question

You are more likely to get better items from smaller shops. I've tried stamps and got literally nothing.

Like others have said, you won't get frozen, but good luck getting any items there. There are always a ton of people RSing in Stamps.

There's no point, and even if you were lucky enough to get something, there would still be a high risk in my opinion.

i AB in stamp everyday with default settings. i always grab a few things and i even got a 12m stamp once too.
