If TNT is mass deflating the value of pirates (one of the most previously valuable colours) and krawks, won't draiks be next up?

Then if draiks were down... what about UCs? Could they do anything to deflate them?

I'm pretty sure they've said in editorials before they don't plan to auto-convert or release more, but... well, who knows with TNT anymore?

What do you guys think?

The aim is probably to try to bring down the cost of the morphing potions, they were probably never intended to inflate so high so they're doing something about it.

What Waser said. But I hope they do adjust the rate at which they're releasing the plushies and paint brushes before too long...

TNT kind of did the same thing with Draiks on 09/09/09, but that wasn't intentional supposedly.

honestly for such an easy game to acquire currency on (especially after all the item generating and thousands of mspp, suap, m-claws, etc) i don't think you can expect the NP:other rate to be that high.

it's not like there's a whole lot to do on neopets lol.

That's probably true, but based on how they've been freezing accounts left and right (sometimes without reason), it seems like losing a few players may not be an issue for them.

If the krawk prices drop even more than they have and TNT comes up with some way to deflate draiks. UC pets will be almost impossible to trade for. Their value will shoot through the roof. TNT would have to come up with some way to combat this. I can see NC buyable UC pets in the future

Yeah, I think it's ridiculous that UCs are already so hard to attain... if they deflated draiks as well as krawks, it will be impossible to even get a UC unless you have epic RNs...

I really hope TNT knows what they're doing...

Making UC's easy to get might not be the best idea either. If UC's deflate, then the most valuable pets will become RN/RW's which are even harder to obtain than UC's.

Easy way deflate morphing potion costs, make krawks and draiks available once a month.

I honestly don't think TNT will deflate the value of UCs, but as far as krawks go... they'll just get cheeper and cheeper.
There's no way of knowing the outcome of Draiks, we just have to wait and find out

I can predict a Meridell event thing where they update the map. It's ugly compared to the other worlds out there. That, Tyrannia and Brightvale also need updates.
So if there is a Meridell event / plot, we can expect Draiks to be deflated in a similar fashion. Either that or they release Draiks again on Draik Day. Not likely, but eh.

This. I hope this happens because honestly I'd have no other way to obtain a UC. I hope TNT do deflate draiks, realize they made a horrible mistake, and try to rectify it by making UC pets buyable via NC. They knew they'd lose a lot of players by implementing customization, so I don't think they care too much about that other than making money.

Honestly, They will probably rise again. And i hope they actually do. (No i do not have a Krawk and I'm not just saying that).

Its good to have massively expensive things in a game because it keeps people setting very large goals and they stay occupied in the game a bit longer

Well if they did make UC buyable, then it would just take out a lot of the fun of trading up for one... but oh well, in the end it all comes down to $$
