i just read on the boards that it only works if there is a glittery gold part on the krawk island map where you access it from. If there is no glittery gold bit, then it will not give you anything for that day. I guess we're just very unlucky. I have had my full map activated for 3 days now and nothing yet.

Damn, didn' know that one, should have read that before using the set... would have sold it instead

Someone on the neoboards reported getting a Pirate Draik Egg from the new map. They posted a screenie and put an egg in their gallery as proof. While they may be lying, it's possible in the least.

While buying map pieces is still not worth it (chances of getting one is very likely as slim or slimmer than getting a magical pirate krawk plushie from the daily), it's something to keep in mind.

It's a possibility that's why they posted the board, but that would be very wishful thinking on their part. The supply of map pieces is very high, so even if the demand increases a little and prices raise, they will eventually drop back down again I believe. I guess they would be hoping for TNT to save the day by cutting off supply soon.

I called said person out on their Draik Egg (the screenshot looked incredibly fake), not only did they get incredibly uppity and send me hate mail, they also couldn't prove they had a Draik Egg. I think it was a ploy to get someone to lend her a SuAP since she was so excited she could use it for collat, yet couldn't prove she had it, and posted her board in the Avatar Board. I call fake until more start showing up.

Then that was just misinformation on my part and I apologize for that. The person said they had the egg up in their gallery and I did not bother to confirm. Many things could have happened; there was no egg and people just missed the post, the person borrowed it just for the purpose of showing it off at that moment, and so on.

Yes, I do agree that we do not know if they really did get a Draik Egg or not. In my previous post, I just stated my prediction that if the purpose of their thread was to inflate prices, it would not work.

keyboard rage always makes it obvious they are lying.

Time will tell though. Just like with the Krawk plushie, if it's actually giving out Draik eggs other people will get one soon.

Won't the map pieces deflate considerably in the next few weeks? I just can't believe people keep buying them. I've made about 300k from selling the few pieces I've won from the squid. In another week or two I bet I can buy the whole map for much less than that.

YES! Finally it's working! I got new collectible for the album and I saw screenie of someone who got Pirate Draik Egg... I really, really hope twas fake


BTW: Obviously, because of the working daily and the cool prizes, the prices of the map are going up again. From 39k to 50k+, so if you have any pieces you want to sell, I'd say wait few more hours and do it, cause they will start deflating again.

Possibly to keep them from being too inflated? It seems to me, since returning to neo, that TNT are aiming the site at kids more than ever now. The filters are a lot stricter, and new games, pets, brushes etc are cutesy and child-appealing more often than not. It stands to reason then that deflating prices will make the site appeal even more to those amongst us who have the attention span of a goldfish.
