Somehow someone stole my account idk how anyone could have stolen it. they changed the password. it was literally like an hour after i downloaded the program manager. i got on my second account and saw that SOMEONE WAS ACTUALLY ON THE ACCOUNT?? wtf. people are soooo crappy. and i forgot what the email was because i made it fooorreevvveeerrr ago. fml.
the email you used is prob deleted and re-created by the hackers. and it is easy to click. lost password after creating the new email.

If my account ever gets hijacked. They'll be able to see all my pretty stuff, but they won't be able to touch it.

The PIN doesn't make a difference.
If they already have access to your old email,,
(because they re-created it after you did not log-in for many months, and it expired)
They went to Neopets.com, clicked, "Forgot Username" and it comes up "Please enter the email address that was used to create the account... " or whatever, blah blah blah
They enter your email... then "Password is on the way, please allow up to 15 minutes" or blah blah blah, something close to that....
They check your old, their now NEW email.. and your Neopet account info arrives....
Wow, the Username(s) and Password(s) attached that email....
Now, they log-in to your Neopet account, only to find you have a pin assigned to your Bank, Stock, SDB, Gallery, Shop... and ETC.
So now the user goes to account preferences and clicks, "Forgot Pin", a few simple steps and the Pin is emailed to the email address they already have!
Too easy, check it yourself. I've done this because my spouse forgot her pin a few months ago, and I had it sent to her email after she logged me into her Neopets acc.
So, best thing to do, keep any online account you have.. not just Neopets, on your active email accounts.. why let it expire anyway? If you change your banking email.. .change everything else you find important too.... they can do these same tricks for almost any of your online accounts.. they now have access to your old email.. why wouldnt they try "Forgot Username" for Facebook, Myspace,... etc etc etc...
