Hi everyone,

I am currently using a paid-for proxy via firefox with the addon foxyproxy (let's call this paid-for IP address A) in order to hide my home ip (let's call this B). So on firefox whenever I check my ip address, it is displayed as A, but on internet explorer it is shown as B.

I can't use the program manager's proxy settings because i get the message " The HTTPWrapper could not connect to the proxy you specified or the connection timed out." whenever i try to connect via my paid-for proxy(perhaps to due it requiring username and password). Hence I log on with the standard way. So my question is (finally), will TNT see activity originating from IP address A or B? And if they see B is there some way that I can make them see A?

I'm just uber confused, so thanks for taking the time to read my really long question. :)

TNT will be able to see your home IP (address B).

As far as I know you cant use a proxy with a UN/PW with the Program Manager, but try this layout:
    username:password@proxy_server

thanks for the reply iomega, I didn't have enough space to enter all of the login information. Guess I'll just have to look for a free ip without un/pw

also while looking for a proxy make sure to find a http proxy as the (better) SOCKS proxies won't work, either
also watch out for IPv6 vs. IPv4 proxies as there may be some issues with IPv6 http proxies that may result in unrevealing your actual IP instead of the proxy one

You should pm me the service that your using for the proxy, and the username/ip/password as I'm planning on adding password support soon (Will most likely have to be done on a case by case basis)
